    Introduction

Yu-Gi-Oh! Destiny Board Traveler is like a puzzle game that is pretty much similar to the GBA game Yu-Gi-Oh! Dice Dungeon. In this game, you will be able to play in a board similar to board games such as monopoly or Oops!, but, unlike this board games, you will earn starchips and cards per duel.

    Getting Started

To start a new game, push the start button on the 1 Player game. it will take you to one virtual screen where you can choose any of the shown characters. After you have chosen your character -- by pressing the 'A' button on the character -- it will take you to a Type option. This will not be explained to you because it will contain a huge spoiler on what this option does. Just go ahead and push the 'A' button. Now, it will take you to another option page, this time is the map. Choose which map you want and press the 'A' button. Finally, the game will take you to an option. This option lets you modify on how many starchips is needed for a particular duelist to win the duel. Onces filling all of this option correctly and as desired, you are now ready to duel. "It's time to duel!", as yugi Muto would normally say .

    Characters and Maps

Characters: The characters in this game consist of of eight unlocked characters--some characters are locked so I won't explain those for the fact that it is a spoiler--to play as. Each of the characters has its own fashion or/and style. Stating that no game sprite looks the same . Depending on which character you choose will vary on the cards it has. Also, each character gets to use a Superpower on some point of the game. Note: Each character has only one superpower and they can only be used when the dueling grounds host announces it.

      Character: Dark Magician Girl
Superpower: She will call her Master Dark Magician to help her in a duel
Common Card Type in Deck: Fairy, spellcaster, fiends, and warriors.

      Character: Mokuba

Common Card Type in Deckragon, beast, beast-warrior, divine, machine, and spellcaster.

There are a few more characters that are locked, so, it will be up to you to unlock them.

Maps:The maps are arenas where you can duel. Each map has its own structure and each of the corner has a special power waiting for you. You can unlock maps by dueling allot.

    Gameplay

The gameplay of this game has some certain features, and yes, this is a board-puzzle game. First thing firt, i will tell you about the options. The first thing that appears are four (two green, one blue, and one yellow) squares. The first square is used to set the cards on a side of a dice. The second one is used to view the spaces of each square spaces on the floor -- it is also used to view the card that is located there. The third square is to view the map screen. The fourth square is used to see the large map. The object of this game is to win a certain amount of starchips or being the only person standing while the others are dead due to the fact that there HP ran low! Well, to start of with the game, you must set a monster card on one of the sides of the dice -- so lets try pushing the 'A' button on the 'set on dice' square (its the first square). It will show your cards. To put a card on a side, you must push the 'A' button at it. Than, it will take you to this other option stat. Here, you can either put your monster at a star face (good against fiends or effect monsters) or regular face (the regular monster atk). Once doing so, you can add another monster card on a side by doing the same thing. Once you feel that you are ready, go ahead and roll the dice by pressing the 'A' button on the green square. One more thing about your monster, it depends on how many stars your monster has. If it has four stars, it will move four spaces. It is wise to put one monster on each of the sides of the dice so you can have a 100% chance on moving forward. Once you have moved forward, you will either fight against a monster with no master, a monster with a master, or you won't fight at all (that area is not declared)! When you fight against a monster with no master, if you win you will declare a space and you will get starchips. But, if you don't win, you will not get starchips and you will loose HP. When fighting against a duel monster with a master, you will be able to decrease the other characters HP and declare that space. When ladning on a space with no duel monster, you automatically declare that space and earn starchips. There are monsters where you will be needed to sacrifice one or two monsters in order to summon it. One more thing, when dueling a monster, you can still win even though your monster is weak eg. if you have a dark magician, and the other character has a blue eyes white dragon, when Grandpa Muto rolls a dice, if your lucky, it can increase your attack or decrease your characters atk/def. There are other possibilities when your grandpa rolls the dice at duels.
