	If that were the case, it might be like Link from SSB where he yells when getting hit or kicked off the stage. I think that worked quite well. At least well enough to incorperate it into the game. And there were many parts in OoT in which he yelled and such. I think anything more then that would make you a third party instead of the hero. -------------------

	I have mixed feelings about Voice Acting in the Zelda series. While Voice Acting could advance the series and deeply immerse the player into the storyline, it does have it's drawbacks. You don't want Link to sound like some teenage punk, do you? In my opinion, the Zelda series is better off with traditional text. Ok, new topic is up. 	The Timeline, I foudn to be completely complicated. The tosses and turns from which game came first to fthe furthest in the storyline left with questions buzzing around my head. Which Links are in which games? Is the Link in TP a Link with no other connections to other Zelda games? 	The timeline theory. Gah, always so complicated. There are plenty of theories involved here, and the biggest issue to deal with is the concept of time travel portrayed in Ocarina of Time. It's because of that very time travel aspect that the dual timeline theory came about. Basically, when Link is sent back in time it is theorized that two worlds are born. The Hyrule where Ganondorf remains locked out of the Sacred Realm (where Link is returned to his childhood), and the Hyrule where Ganondorf is trapped in the Sacred Realm (after the apocolyptic events in Link's adulthood). Let's see. MM is supposed to follow the child timeline and it's suggested that TP follows the adult timeline. It's pretty interesting workaround to the whole time travel aspect that can really mess with a storyline. ------------------- Fire Emblem Awakening - You Want It.

	TwilightPrince's timeline is the closest to being correct you are going to get. The only things that is really debatable is the order of OoA/OoA and ALttP. SInce there are no direct hints as to which came first. But it seems much more logical that ALttP is first because it is more directly relatedc to OoT. Still no hard proof though. -------------------

	OoA/OoS have to be after a game featuring the Triforce and Ganon, and Link's actual appearance makes it appear that it's the same Link as aLttP Link. There are two reasons for this. One, the complete Triforce is in Hyrule Castle right at the start. Two, Ganon is resurrected by Twinrova in a linked game. Therefore, Ganon would have had to have been killed in a previous game. 	I'm sure you guys have probably already checked, but I found an article on Wiki. The section on it is actually really short. 	Well, Wikipedia is wrong. Althought Nintendo hasn't ever released an official timeline, they've given hints. When Four Swords was released, Eiji said something about it being the first in the series. -------------------

While I'm sure they have every intention of having a coherent timeline, has the possibility of them not really considering one until midway through the series crossed anyone else's mind? Perhaps it is by chance that the games fit into a theorectical timeline, with only a few really having the inention of fitting somewhere. Inparticularly, the GB and GBC games are tricky. We can only work off clues within the games, but it's entirely possible that the timeline was never even considered when these games were made. 	The first instance of a "timeline" came when Ocarina of Time was released. Miyamoto said OoT was the first Zelda game in the timeline. But since then, many changes have been made. 	3D, definitely. 3D Zelda games have appealed to me more than 2D because of the vast area to explore on end. The lush enviroments catch my eye, the graphics bring the game to life and the camera angle just suits the open world epic that is the Legend of Zelda. Think for a moment. This is a difficult question to answer, and the cause of this difficulty lies mostly with that one SNES game. aLttP remains for me the best Zelda game, despite the fact it is in 2D. However, the potential is there for the 3D games to simply blow everything else away. The issue I see is that Nintendo have not yet taken full advantage of that. While they've advanced in some areas (eg The environments) if the games themselves can't beat 2D incarnations then the games aren't making the fullest use of the resources available. I suppose I'd say I prefer the 3D for the possibilities presented, but as of yet I still have not seen a 3D Zelda game surpass aLttP, a situation that will hopefully change with TP. ------------------- Fire Emblem Awakening - You Want It.
