The 3 Heart Challenge

It is a common challenge among Zelda fans in which you go through the entire game with only the three original heart containers you start with (6 hearts in Skyward Sword). Some people like to add their own additional rules to this challenge such as no unnecessary upgrades and no fairies in a bottle to increase the difficulty. How many people have actually attempted the challenge and in what games? Any interest stories to go along with them? Which one you think is the hardest?

I have gone through Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask with only 3 hearts. I recently started a six heart challenge on Skyward Sword (attempting to unlock another Hero Mode file so I can even try six hearts on that one)

Majora's Mask by far was the hardest, bar none. Not to mention the additional rules I added to the challenge made it even more difficult. After I finished I felt absolutely fantastic.

Only really tried it on OOT and did it quite well. Not a terribly difficult game as such as it was a welcome challenge. Not sure why I've never tried it on Wind Waker as it seems another perfect title to try it on.

Majora's Mask. Not sure I'd manage it, if only for the boss of the Great Bay temple. I always seem to take a few hits in there.

Are you talking about the actual end of temple boss Morpha there? Didn't think it was that hard. Just a little annoying.

if ur talking about dark link then actually no. he always mirrors your hearts as well, so i imagine he would only take one or two hits.
