Where do you train your pupils recruits without them getting absolutely owned after 1 battle

Basically, just unequip 3 super-strong people (Gerik, Gilliam, Seth preferable) and give them a 1-2 ranged weapon and wala! Level 10 recruit in no time.

As Wolfomite said, at the Tower Of Valni, get your 3 most defensive characters, and unequip everything they have on them. Give Amelia a Javalin. Give Ross a Hand Axe. And give Ewan Flux. (Whichever one you want to train) And also bring a healer. Enter the tower of Valni, and you'll see all the zombies. A few spaces infront of you, there'll be stairs. Put your 3 defensive people on each of the 3 stair spaces. Behind them, but Amelia/Ross/Ewan. Put your healer behind Amelia/Ross/Ewan, and end your turn. The zombies will attack your 3 defensive people, without getting your Recruit, Journeyman, or Pupil damaged. When it's your turn, use Amelia/Ross/Ewan's Javelin, Hatchet or Hand axe, or Flux. It may take two turns to kill the zombie. When you've completed the place and it asks If you want to continue through the tower, press "No" It'll let you save, and you'll be back at the World Map. Do this until they get up to level 10, and then they'll automatically ask for an upgrade. Do so, then keep using them at the Tower Of Valni until they're level 20. Continue your story, and you'll soon get Knights Crests, Ocean Seals, Guiding Rings, etc. Do this for every character you plan on using, and you'll be unstoppable.
