in halo trial you are able to go to king of the hill but when i go to host a king of the hill but there is none is there a way to get king of the hill

please help im new at this

where it says GAME TYPE, you need to select King of the Hill as your type.

Tbh, i've never played KOTH, so it may only work when others join and you are no longer alone in the game.

only halo trial i went to game types and there are only slayer and ctf and i cant change anything so i dont know how to get king of the hill other people use it though

Halo trail only includes 2 game types: Capture the Flag and Deathmatch.
The King of the Hill and Race games you see are actually mods, from what I understand, but they work ao that's why so many people join it: they want something new but they don't wana get their lazy buts to best buy AND BUY ONE! No offense, but theyre only like, 15 bucks now

You originally start off with only ctf and slayer in the Halo Trial for the Pc. But you can change it by going to www.freewebs.com/s1vr/ and looking around in the mods section, you can find a place where it mentions how you can change the game type and you click on the link and it gives you the instructions in there.

NO IT IS NOTTTT a mod, actually it has all the game modes, but hidden...
DONT FORGET: CHANGE ONLY CTF!!!!

Change the game type

1. You may have wondered before how to get new game modes: Team Slayer, King of the Hill, Juggernaut. Here's how:
1. Close all other windows by My Computer.
2. Open My Computer if it is not already open.
3. Start the Halo Trial as usual.
4. Go to Multiplayer and create a game.
5. See Slayer and CTF on the select a game screen.
6. Click on CTF but do not click OK and do not double-click. Just select CFT.
7. Hold down ALT and hit the Tab key or start. You should see My Computer again.
8. Go to My Documents.
9. Double-click My Games.
10. Double-click Halo Trial.
11. Double-click Saved.
12. Double-click playlists.
13. Double-click default_playlists.
14. Go down to the folder that reads 32.
15. Double-click that and you should see some weird file called blam.lst.
16. Copy that by right-clicking and selecting Copy.
17. Open My Computer again.
18. Go to Local C: and right-click anywhere in the window.
19. Hit paste to make a back-up copy of CTF.
20. Return to the place where there are those numbered folders 00-37.
21. Double-click Folder 34.
22. Right-click on the blam.lst and select Copy.
23. Return to the numbered folders list.
24. Go to Folder 32 again.
25. Hit paste and when it prompts: "Do you want to overwrite?" click OK.
26. Press ALT and Tab again. Now you're back at the Halo screen.
27. Hit OK and select the settings and everything for your new game.
2. If you're experienced with a computer just follow these instructions:
1. Load the game as normal.
2. Click Host an Internet Game.
3. Click on the Bloodgulch map and click OK.
4. Click on CTF but Do not start the game.
5. Minimize the game.
6. Go to My Documents/My Games/Halo Trial/saved/playlists/default_playlist
7. Copy the file from one of these folders. The file should be called blam.lst.
