First Pokemon you think when you think of a region

Also give your reasons. ^^ Gogogo.

Generation I: Charizard. I hate this Pokemon but everyone jizzes over it so it's hard not to think about it. ;-;
Generation II: Xatu. It was the first Johto Pokemon I saw and its Pokedex entry was pretty memorable.
Generation III: Mudkip. Due to the cultural impact.
Generation IV: Shellos. The two different formes was memorable.
Generation V: Audino. Speaks for itself.

Gen 1: Mewtwo. They dreamed of creating the world's strongest Pokemon...and they succeeded.
Gen 2: Scizor. One of my favorite Pokemon to come out of Johto,so he jumps to mind pretty quickly.
Gen 3: Shiftry. Many other "tropical" Pokemon came to mind, but Shiftry was first.
Gen 4: Lopunny... Not sure why.
Gen 5: Braviary because 'Murica.

Gen 1: Pikachu: Ahem.

Gen 2: Crocnaw: My fav starter evo

Gen 3: Flygon/Treecko: Both are badass

Gen 4: Rotom/Piplup: Both are pretty good Pokemon in this gen

Gen 5: Snivy/Joltic: EVERYONE I know keeps on posting these guys -_-

Gen I: Nidoking - Not much to be said, except it was a Special attacker in my Gen I days. Good ol' Thunderbolt/Ice Beam/Flamethrower/Surf moveset rocked everything the E4 brought. And lol Lance. Honorable mentions to Kabutops, Rhydon, Dragonite, and Zubat, for being an annoying bastard.

Gen II: Typhlosion/Heracross - It's kinda complicated with the tie, but Typhlosion seriously kicked just about everything's ass, barring Clair's Kingdra. Heracross, I'm finally using in-game after it's been out for ten years, and it's a wrecking ball. Not much else to say, maybe honorable mentions to Shuckle and Scizor. Snubbull too, one of the movie shorts reminds me of Snubbull very often.

Gen III: Altaria/Flygon - I don't like Dragons really, but I can't deny that these two were pretty influential in their own rights. Altaria's cute, and really deadly (Thanks, Winona!), while Flygon's just cool as hell. Honorable mentions to Mudkipz and Swampert, kinda self-explanatory. And Salamence, thing's pretty crazy, though I'm not a fan of it.

Gen IV: Bronzong - This bastard was annoying in Gen IV, because in-game, you didn't know which ability Trainers had on it. It was like 50/50 between Heatproof and Levitate, and that really pissed me off, and is pretty easy to remember Sinnoh's forgettable games with it. Honorable mentions to Rotom and Rhyperior, who are extremely less annoying, but are two cool cats in their own retrospect.

Gen V: Volcarona - I love Volcarona. It's a contradiction typewise, like Shuckle of Gen II, like Crustle this Generation, like Stunfisk as well. But Volcarona's different. It's beautiful, it's deadly, it fits my idea of perfection to a T. Honorable mentions to Serperior for being cool, and Zoroark, for being a sneaky thing.

Generation I: Pikachu. He's the star of the anime, and it's kinda hard not to make him come to mind. xD
Generation II: Cyndaquil. He was the first starter in Pokémon Gold.
Generation III: Mudkip. I've used him in countless run-throughs, and he's awesome. xD
Generation IV: Monferno. He's my favorite Pokémon. xD
Generation V: Chandelure. I used him in my first run of Black, and he worked miracles for me. :3

Generation 1: Pikachu for obvious reasons. GTFO Pikapower13 only room for ONE pikachu here. B|

Generation 2: my first thought went to stantler. dunno why, but I didn't like the little bastard in the first place since I could never catch it >:{

Generation 3: whismur. I Hate HATE hate whismur.

Generation 4: Glameow is so adorable D:

Generation 5: minccino. I had a chinchilla, minccino reminds me of it. Nuff said

Generation 1: Charizard, for obvious reasons. I think it's the worst gen 1 starter, but oh well.
Generation 2: Totodile. Specifically a shiny totodile. I don't know why, especially considering my favorite starter here is Meganium.
Generation 3: oddly enough, not Gardevoir. First I think of Absol.
Generation 4: Darkrai, he was one of the biggest and baddest pokemon introduced in 4th gen, I just always think of him.
Generation 5: Bisharp. It's always Bisharp, and I don't even like it that much.

Gen 1; Kangaskhan; Frustrated me for nearly a year trying to catch it, compared to Scyther and Tauros which I caught comparatively easily.

Gen 2; Feraligatr; his name intriqued me. And I went through a stage of being a
fan of Crocodiles. Honourable mention for Typhlosion. I passed over it first of
all as I thought it looked fairly terrible.

Gen 3; Milotic; or rather feebas; on my first ever playthrough, I caught one of the buggers by accidentally catching the quick-use button while surfing on thr route and the super rod was my quick use. I didn't even know it was hard
to catch until I made to replay it.

Gen 4; Torterra; pretty damn cool looking; aside from that, no real favourite.

Gen 5; Samurott and Volcarona stand out simply for looks.
