Judging time! quote Nagato[C] The thing with revamps is that you need to do more than just recolour - the shading and outlines in older generations, especially one and two, are different to today's. You basically need to take all the shading away, and do it all again to fit the current generation, which is, in our case, five. I can see you have added to some of the outline to make it better, which is good, but you need to do more. You also need to add coloured outline, and take away any large black areas, which are very common in the older sprites. It's also effective to alter some of the outline to make it smoother, as they can be quite jagged or unnatural. quote Charizard_2[C] You have pretty much the same problems as Nagato here. You can't just recolour - you need to change the shading and outline to the current style. You said you revamped it to FRLG, while it should be revamped to BW, generation five, because that is the current generation we are in. It's good that you've updated the fire, though. quote PwnageMaster67[B] Well, firstly, I'd say the body is very good. The outline gets a bit messy at the bottom, but otherwise, I like it. The pattern on its head is also good, and you've used the dark brown well to make them smooth, for the most part. I think the middle of the head, where it curves outwards, should curve out a little more. The are in light looks a little too small as it is. I think you could have used the darkest outline for the lines on the face, as the current colour blends in too much. Its left arm is good, though the yellow finger's outline is too bright. I think its right arm is too big, especially the fingers, which look unnatural. The shading on the fingers is also too straight. I think you should have used coloured outline for the bevel (I'm not sure if that's right... You also need to add black outline to its legs, its tail, its left wing, and its right arm. The claws could use some shading, and the the line on its left wing is too thick. The shading is all good, except on the spikes on her back, where I think there's too much light for their positions. There's a bit too much black outline, especially when compared to its BW sprite. since i'm not really all that into aliens,
i did a rather basic fusion to make this:  scyther, pinsir, mewtwo, kadabra, and machamp. C+C is great, but judging might happen first. i kinda like the general idea, so after its judged i want to revise it to the standards of most of my other sprites  | |
