The fusing is fine, although the transition of textures between the liquid body and the ... bush is a little odd, and there are some light areas that shouldn't be there, namely on the neck and the square bit in the bottom-right corner. I also think you could have removed the bubbles on its body. I really do feel like more should be done to it, but I guess there's not really much more you could have done. quote Pokefan2002[B] Woah, judging three sprites in one is tricky. :L Well, I actually really like the first stage. It's sprited very well, though I think you should have used a lighter colour for the shade on the head. It could also be made to look more towards the left, as it's pretty much looking straight down to the ground as it is. The second two stages are quite ... simple. I feel there should be more shading on both, and more up the sides, as they look very flat as they are. You've used exactly the same face as the second stage's on the third stage's right, and you've also used exactly the same hands, though with parts added on for the third stage. It would be better to try and change the features a little more between stages, to stop them from looking too similar. I'm also not a fan of the flame pattern on the third stage's arms. Individually, I probably would have given the first stage an A-, and the second and third stages a B-. quote ElectricArcanine[A-] The first thing I noticed with this is that there's no nose! You seemed to have completely taken it away. The shading is all fine, the outline colours and the outline (for the most part) are fine. My problem with the outline is the fur on its head, which looks very ragged. You could smooth it out, and make it look more like the BW sprite. There's some grey outline which has been accidentally blended with the stripe at the back of the fir on its head, and I think the light outline on the fur on its head is a little too light, but that's a bit nit-picky. quote Lizz[A] This is so cute! I also think that the yellow inside part of the ears is too bright. Because it's the inside part, it should be mostly in shadow. Wow, you've disguised it very well. First of all, it's way too big. There's also no coloured outline. The outline and shading are both quite jagged, so you should try to smooth them out. The shading at the front of the body doesn't make sense - it curves up on the yellow, but the brown light goes around the yellow patch. They should be aligned. You've also highlighted the back and the back of the tail, where the light wouldn't reach. quote FluffySk1lls[C+] Well, it's quite messy. You haven't used any black outline, and the outline at the bottom is two pixels thick, while it should only be one. The grey you've used for the outline is also slightly lighter than the dark purple, which makes it look strange around the bottom of the sprite. Is the area sticking out on its top-right side an eye? The shading suggests it's a kind of bridge coming away from the body, then turning and joining it again. I think the lines around its body make too much detail, and are very jagged, and don't really fit the contours of the body. Try using less lines, and smoothing them out, making them bend with the body shape. You've made the lines on the arms black, when it's better to use the coloured outline or shade colour for lines on the body, like you have done with the lines on the main body. I feel like the shading on the main body is too straight, and should curve round towards the bottom. With this being a first scratch, though, I can see you've definitely got potential. If you work to make everything smoother, and fix the outline, I can see this being very good. ^^ quote SpudSr[B-] Basically, this is a very simple fusion. The fusing is fine, but really it's a very easy copy and paste. So, everything you have done is fine, but there's just too little of it. I actually used Aesop's Fables instead of a fairy tale (blame my mind for mixing up fairy tales and fables -_-), however, I'd still like to enter it. It's a scratch of the Tortoise, and it's a twist, showing how slow it really is.

I got nothing.... I don't really read a lot of fairy tales. Basically, I know Disney has a lot of fairy tale movies, but I avoid it for some reason.

Judging time! quote SpudSr[C] I'm not going to let my love for Harry Potter to get in the way here. :P First of all, the coat is very messy. I think you tried to turn it into a cloak by removing the buttons and such, but this has made it very plain, and the shading is now off. If you remove parts, you often have to alter the shading to ft the new shape. For example, where you've removed the flap on the part on his chest, the light is left as if the flap is still there. You should alter this to fit the whole chest. His arms and hands are very big compared to his head, the wand is quite messy, and I think his shoes could use some more black outline. As for the pot, the shape and shading make it look more like a rock than a cauldron. If you made it bigger, allowing for more detail, gave it black outline, and made the top more flat, it would look more like a cauldron. You could also colour it black, and make the insides darker. The foot looks more like a hand (it's quite similar to Aipom's, actually), when it should be a foot. quote FluffySk1lls[D] I'll accept fables, they're similar enough to fairy tales. I feel bad for having to give such a low grade, but this is not in the Pokémon style at all. You've got a line of shading around every edge, and no coloured outline. The shading on the body is much too straight - it should flow with the shape of the body. The claws look very separated from the hands and feet, as if they are hanging off. The style of shading you've used on the hands should really never be used, especially on a Pokémon sprite. The shading on the shell makes it look very flat. The face looks very small and cluttered, because of all the black outline and strange shade around all the outlines. quote Charizard_2[C-] The main problem with this sprite is the overall lack of outline. There is none on the body, a lot is missing from the arms and legs, and there is none on the fur on the back of its head. The neck looks far too thin, and needs to be in shade. I think the arms are also a bit too thin when compared to the thickness of the legs. The hands are very messy. The tail has black as its shade colour, but an outline colour which is lighter. The lack of outline at the top makes it blend a little with the arm and body. There's also a patch of outline colour on the top of its head. quote Nagato[C-] Unfortunately I had to lower the grade of this because Alice in Wonderland is not a fairy tale. I would have given it a B- otherwise. Overall this looks good, but the problem is that you've used the whole body from one sprite, and the head from another, without doing any editing other than recolouring. It helps to do more to your sprites. However, you scratched the arms, yes? Well, kudos on even attempting to do that, since most spriters find it very tricky, especially hands. These arms are very small, making the hands look enlarged. The elbow of her left arm is also very high up, so if you lower the arms they'll look more natural. First: SpudSr (C) Second: Charizard_2, Nagato (C-) Third: FluffySk1lls (D) New Theme: I think it's as good a time as any for a good old Repose, Revamp or Devamp.
