	Hey guys, I Joined just to enter the* Spriting contests! Here is my first sprite. I Think i decided to name it Bashket and it will be grass/normal type. xD I Didn't think it would take as long as it did and I'm not totally happy with it but advice and critique are definitely welcome! 	S4m - first sprite? Man! That's really good for a first sprite. It does have it's problems; such as too much colored outline, or being too detailed for pokemon, but for a first, it's really good. Even more, for a first scratch, it's great. Thanks Brodeo I'll pm you now, I Can use all the help I can get and really like all the sprites in your Fakedex so I'd love to read your tutorial.

You could have also done more to make it look like an Easter bunny, rather than just a rabbit. On the top of its head and its ears, it has a brown outline. There's a line running down the middle of its face, which I don't think was meant to be there. There's too much contrast between the blue colours on its body. The gloves you've used don't fit with Banette's arms, making them look very awkward. quote S4m [C+] As Brodeo said, for a first sprite, this is very good. However, it is a bit too detailed for a Pokémon sprite, especially the basket. The basket does need some black outline, and it also needs to be smoothed out at the bottom, I think, as it is very straight. I like the eyes, though the shade around the edge should be removed. You could put the outline or shade colour at the corners of the mouth, which makes it look much cleaner. Both the egg and the bow need black outline. The shading of the egg also makes it look as if it is in front of the bow and basket handle, even though the bow passes over the top of the egg, so that should be fixed. quote Kimonio [B-] My first instinct told me Mew was the base straight away, actually. :P It's actually too obvious, I think. I like this because it allows more for the imagination, rather than just finding a picture of a person and copying their clothes.
