[Fact VS Fiction] Kyurem; What's the Story?

The following are all IMO:-
1) Kyurem and the other 2 form the legendary dragon trio.
2) If it could breed, the offspring will be a chicken.
3) Infer a similar answer as of 2)
4) This time round, Kyurem is not as popular a legend as compared to Giratina.

I've been researching the origin of Kyurem lately and have found some interesting theories. Here's a list of a few questions that came up:

1) Is Kyurem related to Zekrom or Reshiram in any way, shape, or form?
2) What did Kyurem possibly look like before it's internal ice-power leaked and froze it's body?
3) What is Kyurem meant to resemble? [For image reference, see this: Click Me!]
4) Any other questions/answers? Ask/tell your story here!

So, what's the deal with Kyurem? We'll find out. So what are your thoughts, questions, and/or possible knowledge? Remember this thread is for an entertaining discussion and to clear out our list of questions about Kyurem in general.

To me, he looks like a t-rex, that was frozen during the ice age, and because he is so old, his back is hunched.

It looks like an old dinosaur more than anything to me, I like my ice age theory.

Deep-sea creatures often have some bodily adaption to be able to self-generate light. We already have a Pokemon species that embodies that concept though: Chinchou and Lantern.

Anyone else considering an alternate form for this thing without the ice? You know, like Origin Giratina.

How about a sprite design gone bad? I think many would support this point.

Maybe the bulbs on the wings are to simulate Mr. Freezer from Batman? Oui?

Yes, the "lightbulbs" do seem like a miss-interpreted case of "icesicles". In the game, the sprite looked like a frozen-dog with wings. It almost looked like it was limping and barely using it's front paws at all. In the Anime on the other hand, it looks more like a frozen "Griffin". In case you don't know, a Griffin is a creature with the body of a Lion, wings of an Eagle, and the head of an Eagle. So, if you think about it, it seems quite accurate to say it's a Griffin.
