This is one of my better creations so hopefully i get a good grade.


It's based off of a cat... it was supposed to be a dog with pointy ears but it looks like a cat so now it is the fire cat instead of the fire dog... (cat's wear leashes right?)

I'd just like to let everyone know about the 3rd Annual TC and Spriting Awards. The Nominations Round has already started and those nominated will be posted on Christmas Eve, with the winners announced on New Year's Day. However, make sure to read the whole first post.

Sorry for the late judging, tuesday and wednesday I had a huge pile of homework, and a science project to finish for today. I will finish judging now.

This is perfect in almost every way. There may be some lack of shading on the arms, but nothing major.

This sprite has a whole lot to be improved. To start off, the tail is basically as thick as a leg, if not thicker. On to the spots, they're all the same, whether it's on the tail or on the head. It's a 2x2 pixels square, with no shading whatsoever. The closest ear is bigger than the farthest one. One last thing: give at least a hint that there is another eye. From the body position, you can tell that it's facing diagonally, but when looking at the head, you see that it's facing directly left. Pretty confusing.

Solid animation, I really like it, but I won't give you points for it. I screened the frame that was on when I pressed the button. The sprite itself is pretty good, with almost no flaws, except for the fire, which even though goes over the shoulders, shading tells otherwise, which slightly lowered your grade.

This is almost a copy-paste job, which does lower your grade slightly, but what really lowered it is that the sprite is facing the right, when it should be facing the left. Well, not only the sprite, but the shading as well. If this is the case, flip your sprites over. Other than that, it's a decent fusion, even if you can tell the sprites you used.

The first thing to strike me when I first saw this sprite is "This looks like some Paint default colors". I then checked, and it was very similar. Can't take that for free. Other than that, it may miss a tail, but this is Pokemon.

Sorry for no scoreboard, tomorrow is a big French test at my school (2:30h long), so I have to study. For a long time.

Why such a complicated theme... this contest has little participation and this theme does little to help that. Sorry, just had to point that out. I don't have much time for spriting this week so I am gonna miss out this round.

Well the only way to make this theme easy was to make an hp deoxys which i did so here you go
