also is there a possibility of someone selling an escape rope to the back room as ive failed the pokéhunt. forgot that you had to send in pokemon the day you hatched them :/

Heat Rocks can be picked up for ten Prize Points in the Prize Shop, bought in the Backroom or found Underground.

I tend to stick to the Pokemon I have the Shine Recorder set to record. But I have a list of back up Pokemon for when I can't find any eggs.

My only shiny Novelties are Cherrim Damp and Easter Buneary.
