	You can't blame the offical Pokémon sprite makers that you cannot alter the shading.

	I threw together an entry. As I was making it, it seemed more and more to look like a sort of "prehistoric" or "pre-Ice Age" Lapras, so I kinda just went with that xD So imagine it's Water/Ground or something. Fusion of Feraligatr, Dratini, Lapras, Torterra, Rhydon, scratch. C+C from judging only. C:

	TOURNAMENT ROUND 2 JUDGING! Theme: Water/Ghost Lizz vs NickAlert Create any sprite which represents the types Water and Ghost. quote Lizz I like this sprite a lot. I think it fits the theme very well and is what I what looking for during this round. I like the shading and I also like the details on the skull. Very nicely done! The only thing is that the front flipper (to us) looks like it's dislocated. xD Maybe just a few touch-ups there will make it look better. Great done nevertheless. quote NickAlert You're right, this is definatly not your best. It looks a lot more like Ice and Dark then water in my opinion. It's also very dark, I'd like to see the sprite. xD There's not much I could say, but it isn't that good in mine or I'm guessing your eyes. You know what could be done to make it better, I'm sure. But if not, just make it a bit less ghostly, you've focused mainly on that, which is harder to portray then water. Shading under the fire isn't too good, maybe fixing it up a bit would make it seems better. The whole concept isn't a very good one. Maybe going for a different idea would have worked more effienciently then this, such as a fire type Hypno/Alakazam. Just simple things like that could work better. But it doesn't portray the dark as well as the electric for me. The fusing was well, but I'm not too sure if it is supposed to be floating, or walking on those ear things or what. Maybe if you didn't add as much things including in the sprite, things would become more visible for it to be seen. The blade thing on his head looks merged into it, and actually no shading there makes it looks incredible flat. The eyes looks very cramped together and the rest of the body is very loosely shaded. I just can't put my finger on it, but I don't like it. Sorry. But cute and small can sometimes be your demise. It's very basic, not giving you enough room to experiment and include more interesting detail that I know you can do. It's very well fused and scratched, but next time, go a bit further to extend your ideas and make something which will show your spriting skills off further, as it's still a good sprite, but not much can be said for it. quote Squirrel_Lord Lovely, just what I was wanting! 	Theme was just describing words beginning with M, started from Lady GaGa's soon to be new album, so I just worked on that. I thought trainers would be easier to portray them then sprites.
