C+: Very very blank looking card. Having a basically block colour background really doesnt look good. Atleast have somesort of background going or adding another colour say where the black text is.

A+: Very good! The red and black balance out nicely and the shading looks great. The pokemon recolours look nice and evil so great work

D-: Well theres something, pretty much everything in this card has gone horribly wrong. Using pictures that you've shrunk is a huge mistake, the name letters could atleast be lined up with equal spacing, the pokemon cuts could be ALOT better and the quality due to its file type has completely ruined whats left of it. I would give you something to focus on improving on this card but everything needs work here

D+: Alot of work still needs doing here. The text lettering could be alot better and atleast positioned so you can properly read it. The area where the badges used to be doesnt look very good what with the boxes still visable against the templates natural gradient. Also the pokemon seem to be coming out the boxes slightly, probably a result of the way you put the pokemon in them. I think yo've probably put the pokemon ontop of the boxes so i'd advise you practice putting the boxes ontop of the pokemon to avoid this. I know you made this before you pmed me asking for help so i'd think you'd be able to make better card than this one now

B-: I can see how you'd go or a black and purple colour sceme but the background you used makes it rather hard to see the trainer and such. Perhaps using a background that has its colour spread over more area instead of in strands would fix this

A: Interesting looking card, i see you took advantage of it being an open round. The enlarged boxes have allowed really good free cuts which is nice to see on a modern template for once aswell as a template that finally uses the orange island badges sucsessfully. Interesting choice on trainer too, cant say i can picture her in the tv show or anything but it works on the card atleast

B+: Its a good card, was going to get an A band grade but what with a few mistakes with the ribbons it had to go down a bit. Its not just the transparency issues at the bottom of the ribbons but also the top of them. The top of the middle ribbon looks to have a square top so i dont know how that happened. Still, good work

A-: Very cool looking (no pun intended ), looks pretty icey. The ribbon cute thing looks rather cute so really good work on that. The raichu looks a bit iffy though, it never seems to do well with anything other than its intended colours but nice try at it anyway

I'm really tapped for good themes right now, seems i've used them all up. Unless ct can think of a better theme, lets see how you do with a seasonal round

I guess this ones open for interpritation. Think of summery things like tropical places, bright green trees, heat, that sort of thing

SR- Actually, I'm not surprised that I got a bad grade, considering it was my first attempt. Even I think that my card was bad. Honestly, I'm surprised that I didn't get an F. Anyway, with some practice, lessons, and the discovery of the Magnify tool, I have created a beach-themed summer Trainer Card! Enjoy!

Also for future referance, remove all white around the card (Excluding those nasty corners)

I was going to do Sun burnt, but I chose this instead, because I could base it on me and WolfofSorrow.
Anyone can take my sun burnt idea if they want.

I chose our favourite pokemon, excluding Raichu, because that was my downfall on my last card.
I forgot who made the base of this template, but I modified it quite a bit to fit my theme. I used Hoenn badges as if we're on holiday. Considering that most people use Sinnoh now.
My trainers, they're based on Arcanine and Raichu, but I recoloured me to be the same as WoS and the pokemon.
Not too sure on Swampert, it was really hard to make him look right, so I gave up with my best attempt out of several.
C&C if you want. I don't really mind.

I think it's Zach, not sure though.

I really like both of the trainers in your post. They look cool!
