StarZ and Sarada were surrounded by Mavericks.

StarZ; Mavericks suck.

Maverick: hahaha, destroy the weaker one then everyone concentrait on StarZ

StarZ: hey she has a name!

Maverick: huh? Retreat something with alot ofp ower is coming... Soilders? Report in!

the lone maverick stood as his buddies were melted trash.

Maverick: you'll pay for this... *teleports away*

StarZ looked up to see alpheon.

StarZ: alpheon!

Alpheon: hm, what do you want weakling?

StarZ: well that awnsers one question.

StarZ instantly Cramed his fist into Alpheon's Face as he drifted a little bit as StarZ landed back on the ground.

StarZ: What did you call me?!

Alpheon: hm, StarZ you say your so Powerfull yet you cannot controll your power.

StarZ: your one to speak your letting your power controll you!

Alpheon: SILENCE!

a Crimson beam came down apon starZ who held the Proto sword agenst the beam of energy.

StarZ: Sarada get over with Mega, looks like me and Alpheon are gonna have one last sparring match.

Alpheon: hahaha, Alright we'll see who is the better fighter once and for all!

StarZ: (I hope Kojiro can Backtrack Faster than Alpheon Changes Sides or I'm gonna be in trouble.) Bring it!

Jeran and DMZ helped X and Axl up. The whole gang was still shocked with Alpheon's sudden change.

"I can't believe it... What on earth happened with Alpheon?" Faust asked.

"We always knew that, being the reploid of destruction, Alpheon could go rougue and power crazy..." Rigel said. "But not even myself thought it could get that bad... He even defeated Kojiro."

"Yeah. At first I thought he was the bad guy, but he helped us out a lot times too." Vega said. "This is totally confusing, man."

"A demon that became and ally and an angel that became an enemy... At least that was what it seemed at first." Jeran stated. "Alpheon and Kojiro's powers are complete opposites and yet they're brothers. Only a demon can beat an angel and only an angel can beat a demon... But now... I'm not so sure..."

Suddenly the group heard soft groans. Andros and Zhane were waking up. "Ow... Did anyone see what ran over me?" Zhane rubbed his head getting up when he noticed the others looking at him. "Huh? Guys?"

"Man... From all the times we got ambushed, I think this one was the most painful." Andros said as he got up when he also saw the others. "Everyone? What are you guys doing here?"

Before anyone could reply, the twins spotted X and Axl injured and rushed to help them. "X! Axl!" Andros yelled. "You two okay?"

"Wait, better not speak." Zhane said as he glanced at them. "Nope. That doesn't look good." He glanced at Andros. "You know what to do."

Andros nodded. Both brothers' core started glowing as bright lights covered X and Axl for a few seconds. After the lights died down, the twins reverted back to their original armors before falling on their backs. "Phew... That didn't go the way I expected..." Zhane sighed exhausted before glancing at X and Axl. "You two feeling better?"

"Kinda. I feel a bit stronger." Axl replied as he was able to stand without DMZ's help. "What did you do?"

"THe Beast Power can be also used for healing." Andros replied. "We used on X once after the battle against Veldogger, right, X?"

"Yeah... I remember." X said as he stood without Jeran's help. "But what about you two? You look exhausted."

"Guess we ran out of energy after the last blast." Zhane said with a sigh. "It's nothing serious. Just need a sec to catch our breath. That's all."

Star sighed. They had run for a long time and they were still so far from the castle.

"Let's take a rest, Star." Vee suggested. "You look tired."

Star nodded. She was tired. Both friends sat down to rest. "I wonder if everybody's okay." Star said.

"Me too. Jeran's probably worried sick about me." Vee said.

Star nodded. *Be safe, everyone.* She thought. *We'll find a way to meet up with you. I promise.*

After a few moments, X's squad was back on the track. They stormed the Castle, wiping out the defenses, until they came across...

*X and the others screech to a halt in the grand halls of the Castle*
X:What?!
*a giant red puddle of blood reanimates itself into a humanoid giant, with 5 eyes*
*Sigma manifests himself in the form of a giant head*
Sigma:Hello, Hunters...

X:Sigma! You traitor! We're going to bring you down once and for all, you hear me?!

Sigma:Wishful thinking, fool. But I guarantee you, you won't even get past the Blood Devil standing in front of you.

Coastal:Yeah, well, I've got some wishful thinking for you, you bald b*tch!
*fires a blast at the Blood Devil*
Zero:No!
*the Devil catches the blast, and manifests it into a giant beam, which the rest of the Hunters have little time to dodge*
Sigma:What an amusing game, this will be. Adieu, Hunters...At least, we should hope so...AHAHAHAHAHHAHAH!!!!!
*de-materializes*
Zhane:When I get my hands on him...

Andros:Brother, I think we have different problems.
*Blood Devil screams and assumes a fighting stance*
Gargantuan:Gross...

Faust:Let's get this over with...
*plays a tune that makes giant spears of energy rain to impale the creation*
*Blood Devil regenerates*

Vee lunged forward, batting away some Demons. He then shot around like a ping-pong ball through the crowd of enemies, ramming into one and then rebounding and slamming into another. After knocking all of them down, Vee stopped, rbreathing heavily.

Vee: Star! Are you alright?!

Star slowly shook her head as she gasped for breath.

Demon: Aw, too bad.

Vee looked up and rammed into the Demon, but was taken by surprise when another came from up behind and grabbed Star!

Star: *cough* Vee!

Vee: Star!!!

As the Demon was about to strike Star, He was split in half by an unseen blade. The demons, afraid the Vee had performed the unusual attack, scrambled off, screaming for help. Vee watched the Demons and Sigmechs go, and then looked back at Star, a curious look on his face.

Vee: What just happened?

Star: I don't know....

And suddenly, a dark figure was standing over Star, a sword in the figure's hand. Vee was about to attack the figre, until the man sheatehd the blade. The man turned to Vee, and dropped a small, capped bottle onto the ground. The bottle contained four small pills, and a vile of purple liquid.

Vee: What's in that...?

??????: The pills: Star is to take one every hour starting in two minutes. After you run out of the pills, Star is to drink the purple liquid.

Vee: Why?

??????: It'll help her. Trust me.

The man, covered by the shadows, then turned to leave.

Vee: Who are you?!

The man smirked under the silouhette.

??????: Not now. I some business to take care of.

The man then headed off, toward the Viral Castle.

Meanwhile.......

Set pushed open the doors to Sigma's throne room. Sigma bolted up, glaring at the demon.

Sigma: Set! What is the meaning of this?!

Set bowed.

Set: Forget my abrupt entrance, but they are complete.

Sigma, instantly understanding what he meant, smirked.

Sigma: Alright... bring them to me.

Set nodded, and strode over to the throne.

Set: Ophois and I finished these mere minutes ago.

He motioned for a nervous-looking Maverick to come in. the Maverick stood by Set, shaking in the presence of Lord Sigma.

Set: As you know, Ophois and I have been trying to develop a way to enhance the performance of a Maverick and a Demon without making them go through upgrades that take too long.

He opened his fist, revealing small purple stones.

Set: I have named them "Virus Stones". Ingesting one will enhance the speed, strength, strategic thinking,and agility of the Maverick or Demon that consumes it.

Sigma nodded.

Set: Let me demonstrate.

He gave one to the nervous Maverick and motioned for him to eat it. The Maverick popped the stone into his mouth and chewed for a moment. He then swallowed it, and seconds passed.... Suddenly, the Maverick's muscles tightened. Its armor shifted shape, becomign sleeker and more viral-looking.

Set: Now....

The Maverick turned, and in a moment zipped around the chamber and got back to his spot. He then zipped through the rafters, manuevering through each and every inch of the chamber without so much as touching an obstacle. He then struck the wall, and the entire wall crumbled. The Maverick quickly reassembled it in less than a minute, and was back at his spot.

Set: A consumer may ingest up to 10 to enhance any of the above attributes. Consuming more than ten will...... make the user lose its mind to a preset objective. May it be insatiable hunger, or destroying a certain individual, or decimating everything.

Set nodded to the Maverick, and the Maverick stepped out of the room.

Set: So....? What do you think, Lord Sigma?

"Excellent work, Set," Sigma grinned. "I am very pleased."

"I appreciate that," answered Set. "I have worked very hard on developing these stones."

"However," Sigma said abruptly, "It's not enough."

"What?!" exclaimed Set in disbelief.

"We haven't tested the virus stones in action. They work well in theory, and they certainly look impressive. But will their effects work as well in actual combat?" asked Sigma.

"I see your point," agreed Set, stroking his chin. "Maverick! Get back in here."

The maverick zipped back into the room, in the blink of an eye.

"He has a name, you know," said Sigma. "His name is... um, it escapes me at the moment. What was your name again?"

"Chipp," answered the maverick.

"Ah, yes, Chipp," nodded Sigma. "Do you realize that you have a great opportunity here? You were one of the lowest members of my army. But now, you have a chance to be a high-ranking officer."

"What do I have to do?" asked Chipp.

"Simply find one of the hunters," smiled Sigma. "Pick any one at random. You choose. And destroy him."

"Yes, sir," answered Chipp, and he ran out of the room in a flash.

"What exactly do you have in mind?" asked Set.

"It's simple, really," Sigma told him. "We will test out the virus stones by sending young Chipp out to kill a hunter. If he succeeds, we get rid of a hunter and the operation is a success. He can then be sent out for more assassinations, or further testing. If not, well, he was only a low ranking maverick anyway."

"I see," said Set. "Not a bad idea. I like it."

"Now all we must do is watch," said Sigma, motioning to his wall of many monitors. "Have a seat."

Sigma pressed a button and a chair rose up out of the ground, for Set to sit in.

"Why, thank you," said Set, gratefully. "But I'd rather stand."

"Hmph," grumbled Sigma, pressing the button once again to retract the chair. "Suit yourself."

Off:Guys...I think you're forgetting the Hunters were fighting the Blood Devil.

Kojiro followed Sarada which lead him to the group. He jumped off the wall after seeing a large black sphere in front of them.

Kojiro: *lands near the group* Is everyone alright?
X: Yes but, Alpheon isn't. We can't seem to get to him.
Kojiro: *looks at the sphere* Daisuke! Ka watashi wo kiku kotogadekiru!?

Meanwhile...

Zan: What's the matter, Alpheon? Are you blind? Cannot you see me? Am I stronger now?!
Alpheon: *hears Kojiro from outside* Kojiro. He's calling me. *communicates through his mind* Watashi haanatano tasuke wo hitsuyou tosuru . Karui chikara wo yuusu runode tabun hirai ta tama wo kiru kotogadekiru .

Kojiro: *replies* Hai.
Sarada: Did he say anything?
Kojiro: He did. I'm going to help him. I'll die by his side.
Kazegama: Kojiro!
Kojiro: *turns to Kazegama*
Kazegama: Watashitachi haanatato itte iru! Watashitachi ha kano sokumen niyotte amari ni shinu !
Rigel, Faust & Vega: (Dude!) What did he say?
Kazegama: Let me explain. Kojiro said, Alpheon told him to cut through the sphere and enter. And I told Kojiro that we, being Alpheon's friends, will not break our vow.
Faust: That's right. How could I forget?
Rigel: Friends til the end.
Vega: We can't just let the dude fight alone! We gotta help him, y'know!
Kojiro: *turns to X and the others* You guys head for Sigma. We'll handle Zan.
X: *nods* Hunters, let's move!

Off: Since none of the characters explained what Alpheon said, I'll—
Kojiro: —Hold it, Musashi. It's your birthday so, you could get some rest. Let me explain for you guys out there in the real world. I asked Daisuke-san if he can hear me and he replied, "I need your help. Maybe you can cut through the sphere since you have light powers."
Alpheon: That's nice, Kojiro so, can you please enter!? I have a coffee break in a few minutes and Zan is getting impatient!!!
Zan: Yeah. I'm going blind too. So cut the chit-chat!

StarZ kept running as the ground beneath him rumbled as a Gigantic Claw held the ground and the blood devil rose and put it's feet onto the ground glaring at StarZ as it's claws emmitted a red Aura

StarZ: geeze then bring it on!

StarZ dashed up toward the blood devil as the Star Saber was drawn and StarZ swung the saber but the blood devil simply swatted StarZ away

StarZ: gah, alright then!

StarZ pulled out the proto sword and held the two behind him as his Chest crystal glew

StarZ: mach 5 dash! Dash Slash!

StarZ dissapeared and reapeared behind the blood Devil as a bright Steam of light appeared then dissapeared as the blood devil started to slide as it's upper torso hit the ground

StarZ: hah, couldn't defend agenst that...

the Devil lifted it's torso up as it regenerated and the other Body Broke down into Particles of energy that gatherd forming a ball of Chaotic Energy as the Devil grabed it and thew it at StarZ.

StarZ: gah!

StarZ held the Star Saber and the Proto Sword agenst each otgher holding the ball back as it grew smaller and smaller as the Beams Grew Red and StarZ jumped up and twirled the blades sending a wave of Chaos Energy at the Blood Devil

however the Devil simply reached through the energy and swatted starZ into the floor.

StarZ: gah nothing is working agenst him...

StarZ lifted him self up looking at the menacing Devil as it raised it's claw

StarZ: dang... I won't lose here!

(sorry for any bad typos or mistakes I'm kinda tired but I really wanted to post )
