re: Neoseeker Records

Firstly athens bad bwoys, you need a screeny of your scores if you want a Seeker record.

Sorry to burst ya bubble too but:
Mens Javelin: 99.60

Screen

That should be hard to top.

Christ and I threw 99.10 this afternoon. Would like to see some screens of that 100m time, very quick.

Got a screeny Ang3lus?

Thought my womens Javelin couldn't be beaten as I could have swore it was a perfect throw. How wrong could I be it was smashed! Back to the drawing board I guess.....

re: Neoseeker Records

This has caused me a lot of pain but I've managed to regain the Discus records:
Men's Discus - 74.92
Women's Discus - 78.51

I'm also trying to home in on the Javelin records but these are extremely good records.

(Also got 2.38 in the High Jump if that's not been beaten Nuggy)

Mens (apologies for the lack of focus - my arm was knackered)

re: Neoseeker Records

Nice one jonny, i`ll be hard pushed to get them back, those are nice throws.

The womans Javelin i set i`m sure is possible to beat because i threw that in a combined event and got 1175 points not the max. 1200. The 99.60 got me 1200 though for men.

The 2.38 high jump equals mine jonny, but thats the event i`m working on at the moment i`m sure i`ll go 2.46+ soon.

re: Neoseeker Records

Hi Moon,

Can you explain this 1200 points thing? Is that the max you can get in any discipline when doing a combined event?

re: Neoseeker Records

Yes i think so, I`ve jumped 9.30 in long jump on champion and got 1200 pts for it, i`m pretty sure those who have lifted 280kgs in weightlifting got 1200pts for it too so I assume that is the maximum points.

So my theory is if you don`t get 1200 points for something in a combined event, they you can go faster/farer.

Its just a theory though.

EDIT:Jonny`s competition urged a response, and i went on a record hunt!!, not done bad either.

Womens Field
Triple Jump: 16.26
Discus: 78.54

Mens Field
Discus: 74.97

Womans Track
200m : 20.69

Please don`t rebeat my discus jonny!! my palms are shot to s**t!!

re: Neoseeker Records

More great work Moon. I thought I had my efforts perfect but it seems not. I wonder whether the wind comes into play? I've seen the wind gauge in the Long and Triple jump, and saw it yesterday in the Javelin. I wonder if it has a role in the discus?

In fact I've seen it above +2.0m/s and pretty sure I went on to ahcieve a World Record. I didn't think this was in the rules. What do people think?

Might as well post what you can lift in the Weightlifting thread, and I'll remember to check yours when we do it. That's if you can't even be assed to check by here in future.

Nice one Lumpy.

Added all the new records I believe, let me know if I haven't and if I have added any up wrong. Moon21_25 and myself tied at the top, time to try and win some back.

Think we should start swimming tomorrow.

Looks good to me, one thing though Nuggy, you have been a bit generous with my 200m womans record 20.36!!! Leave it like that if you want.

Nice jump there Captain Lumpy, also 18.33 nice effort that for the CPU.

Cheers for being honest enough to point it out.

Hats off to your javelin efforts, just been having a go and can't get near them.

re: Neoseeker Records

Still struggling with these throwing records you boys. Very impressive they are.

Have improved the women's 400m from 47.21 to 47.16. I'd do a screenshot but have lent the game to my mate for the weekend, and I'm holiday for a week from tomorrow. So won't get a chance to get a screenie on 'til late next week.

As much as I want to take my PS2 with me my missus just won't be impressed. Catch you all for the swimming then?
