Missing Events |
|
Are there any events you would like to have seen in the game, but arent? There are loads of general ones like football, tennis etc. but i dont want them in an Olympics game. -------------------

I thought there might have been a longer distance running one like 5000m, but I suppose it would be too boring if they used the same method as they do for 800m. I was surprised diving wasnt in there, thats usually an annoying one so Im not too bothered! -------------------

quote Josh AvfcIce skating a winter olypics sport, Sailing would have been good, rowing was terrible on track and field. I thinka relay where you have a bar to press L1 in the middle to get a perfect pass would have been good, can't think of anything else off the top of my head. -------------------

Yeah a relay would have been good. I thought ice skating was a winter olympic sport, but I was afraid to say in case I was wrong! -------------------

quote Josh Avfc Boxing, badminton, table tennis. I think many of the sports that arent included are sports that exist in there own right, rather than just take place at the Olympics such as 100m. -------------------

1 V 1 knockout sports wouldn't really work in an olympics game only races or things like skeet where you are competing. -------------------

quote im the hurricaneYeah and they take too long. if you had them kind of events you would have to have a tournament, which would take quite a while -------------------

Oh yeah had forgot the hammer! Perhaps they didnt include it because it would be very similar to the discus. But I suppose they included 4 swimming events which were all the same technique so that cant be the reason! -------------------

re: Missing Events |

Definately not the 4x400 relay, it's tough enough doing one 400 meters let alone 4 in a row, unless the method of running was the same an 800 and 1500. -------------------

re: Missing Events |
quote im the hurricaneYeah but if you used the 800m and 1500m method, it would be dead easy coz the runners wont get tired in 400m and you could just press the analog stick up for the whole race. I suppose 4x100m would be a good challenging one, where you have to press L1 to hand over the baton -------------------

re: Missing Events |
quote rfc2004I think the main ones are rowing and cycling, as many of the others are team sports so are difficult to put in a game like this. -------------------
