Really? I knew General Help was but not GD. Some forums still have them too. I don't think its General Discussion, a lot of Moderated forums have them so it's unlikely, you're probably thinking of General Help.

Actually, the console HAS been anounced. And unfortunately, it's not the Cube. It's going to be PC and PS2.

I agree, I heard it was a PS2/PC thing. Might have to close the forum down. ;__;

You need to make sure because in EGM they said it was only for PS2 and PC!

That sucks because all of us PSO fans either had the DC, GC, X Box, or PC versions. Now they make it only for a console some of use may not have. Whats up with that?

They also said they made the offline version of PSU better than PSO's because half of the GC owners of PSO didnt play it online. So why make it to have better offline play if its going out for a console that never had PSO? You'd think they made it that way for us GC owners but nooooooo.

Still, if this one does go down, check out the ps2 forum. It has a lot of good info despite being almost empty. Maybe we could make it a bit more interesting over there...

even if u dont have a ps2 u have a computer and that is just as good as long as u can play with out it lagging so Boxy Brown dont complain

How does Gamecube's online community look? What, oh, it hardly exist, that's right!

The PS2 however has a nicely established online community.

Xbox.. well... it has Halo.. yeah... done with that. Not sure if that is more of a community or just some place to flaunt your fake superiority.

And of course PC has quite to online community.

That's why they have chosen PS2 and PC as the release platforms, because they make sense, GC and Xbox really don't. And it won't be released on next gen consoles because they will be so young, they won't have any sort of community established yet.

I'm just hoping that they stop cheating before it starts, as it helped kill what little online community it had. Stupid L337 H4x0r5 ruining the game...
