Im trying to decide which game to buy, i know that cost is a $20 difference but money doesnt matter. i really want to try the dunk contest but from what im reading the graphics r choppy and not that great. So help me out guys which should i go for and y.

Let me ask you a question. Remember the days when you used to play those games like Galaga, Contra, Mario, and pitfall? What's the reason you played those games? Graphics? I don't think so. You played them because they were fun. Now, when it comes to fun, Live has it all. 3-point shootouts and the slam dunk mode. I don't think 2K5 has anything like that. Anyway, it's your choice. If you're a graphic based gamer, choose which looks beautiful to your eyes.

well i like the live graphics theyre not the best but hell its a huge improvement from the last game. i like the dunk comp and i like everything in it if i were you id get live
but its your money so you choose. Also just a little thing but espn got a 4.1 and live a 4.2 but one tenth doesnt make much difference either does it

Live,although it costs more, it's just a better game

depends on what you care about most live has worse graphics and in my opinion worse gameplay

where as espn doesn't have allstar weekend which is aweseome and also lives franchise mode is better, but then espn has 24/7

Now that I've played ESPN on the Xbox, that may be the best ball game out right now. Live is starting to fade for me already and the season hasnt started. ASW is nice, but playin the cpu is BORING. I'm getting an Xbox in the next wk or 2 and I'm giving the ESPN titles another shot, seems like they are made for the Xbox.

i got 2k5 its great, it has good game play good graphics and it was cheap as hell and ben wallace is on the cover thats why i chose it over live

Lol why do people even think that its better? The game is a addicting peice of shit. I spent alot of time on that game, now I spend all my time on NBA Live 06. Shouldnt we make a forum for that game?
