i am on level 2, i have just gone in the cave in the swamp after rescuing the bowow but you can only get through the cave with magic powder and i have run out! how do i get more? or am i stranded? please dont say i have to start again! HELP!

It's been awhile since I played this game, so i could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure once you've obtained magic powder, you can find it by defeating enemies in dungeons, or I'm pretty sure you can buy it from the shop keeper in town. If that doesn't work you might try talking to the witch who made it for you in the first place again.

No, you need to find the mushroom in the north of mabe village, in the dark forest, en find the witch in the pumpkin and give it to her =)

No, that's what you need to do to get the Magic Powder in the first place in order to get past the raccoon who is actually a person under a spell so you can get the key to level ONE. This is in regards to level 2, after the mushroom event has already occurred. It's been awhile since I played this game, but not THAT long.

Back track to the room where there are two keese and a stalfos.

Kill them all and a key should drop form the ceiling and in between a few pots.
