Your opinions on this movie...

Well, geez, I hate to necropost, but I hope this post is interesting enough to warrant it.

I have not seen the English version of this movie in a good while (preferring to watch the original, unedited Japanese versions I have saved onto my computer), so please bear with me. Script edits aside, the movie, I think, holds itself together well enough, at least through the first two acts. However, after the defeat of Diablomon, when the third act starts, all the edits and rearrangements made from the original Japanese version (they cut out over half of the third movie, you know) cause the movie to pretty much stop making sense when Cherubimon summons his "dream dimension," and the film falls flat on its face as a result. If the movie had less cuts, or if the edits were perhaps just melded together more carefully (and had a better dub script), I think it would have been a fantastic film, but it was not to be.
