I was wonder about this forums views on a situation from a recent game i was involved in, during a property negotiation an agreement was arranged such that one of the 2 players would recieve free rent on the property being traded for the remainder of the game. as it turns out it was 4 or 5 laps around the board before said player landed on that property and by that time had forgotten the arrangement and payed the rent for their stay, and continued to do so for the rest of the game. my question (and i know it well just end up being opinion because these arent something thats in standard rules) is who's responsibility is it to remember the agreement? Was it wrong for the landloard to accept the money? or is it basically just the reverse of the situation where a landlord must ask for the rent when their property or risk missing that income
