They messed up S.L.A.I.

First of all, I was really looking foward to this game for a long time. I finally picked it up yesterday and started playing. Everything seemed good, graphics, and as much of the story i could get into. So far I havent been able to beat a single battle, not even D ranks or free ones all because of a few errors that destory the game experience. For instance, now when you hit someone in a week spot, it does 2-3 times damage. When someone gets behind you, they do 3x damage as well, but when they hit a week spot on your back, you get hit for 6x damage. Sounds good when your fighting someone else, but your never really fighting one person in this game, basically its 5 on 1. I'll be running towards an enemy and one of those small car robots will come up behind me and take me down to 1/4 hp before im able to find cover. In addition to the damage change, somehow chips now have hp. I have no idea why they decided this. You cant even heal them all the way when theyre damaged. You take you chip to a chip dealer and he will heal 1/2 the damage, but the ammount that your chip is at after being healed is now its maximum. The only solution to fixing this problem is to transfer the data (The levels your chip has obtained in combat) to another chip. The transfer will cost about twice as much as a normal chip. Only thing else is that vendors dont sell all equip over the period of time. More will probably be added when you progress through the story, but its slightly impossible to do that.

actually i found game play rather easy.
the key is to use the rookie weapons in the beginngin such as the machine guns. and cloak often.

Its actually very simple. I have beaten the game many times and my key strategy is to use the O.C. and sneak up behind them and use a melee weapon such as the sword. Which is what I use.

no.. theyre arent.... WAAAHH!!!! To think i had built a Charga with a lvl 99 body, legs, and a wolf... wiht level 55 light shoulder lasers (2 of em) and two light spead shots... WAH! it rocked so hardcore i could beat roy in under ten seconds.

the way to really take out the svs is to get a hartman and just go ballistic with the machine guns. You get a lock on theyre backside, BOOM, theyre DOWN FOR THE COUNT BABY!!
