I just want to raise Chao, I'm not good at all playing the game. So I am trying to use one of the save files I got from this site to go right to Chao World.
I have followed the online instructions. I created the Memory Card (both A and B) using Dolphin and played City Escape to have a save file (it took me 7 minutes!). I then used Tools->Memcard Manager and imported the .cgi I got from here. But whenever I go to start the game again, the Memory Card shows no save file at all and wants me to start playing the game from scratch. However, I can re-enter my City Escape file and play it with no trouble (except for the fact that I just can't play the game well at all). I have tried getting to Chao World on my own, but I am so frustrated I am in tears...I just can't play real-time games.
How, how, how can I get a save file from gamefaqs to actually be recognized by Dolphin? Please help me, I have tried for two days straight to find the answer.
I know it might be a bit much to ask...but if anyone as a completed game save file on a working memory card that they could send me that they know would work on someone else's computer, could you maybe consider sending it to me if nothing else works?
Uh...other info. I am using Windows 7, 64 bit. My emulator is for 64bit. I have tried the North American version with North American save files and the European version with European save files with the same results. I have tried Dolphin version 4771, 5026, and 7716 with the same results.
Also, I can't get Action Replay codes to work in it either.
