	It's not the same Link. There are about 6 Links now. Link was said to be elvan in one interview. In the N64 games, that Link was 'elvan' to my knowlage. He was left with the Great Deku Tree by unconfirmed guardians, possibly his mother, or perhaps he was dropped out of the space-time...thing. Of course, there is also a theory that there is something like a timeline to the games, however, some say that it's the order the games where released, and others say it's up in the air. Now that I think about it, I think Miyamoto-san once said it's the order the games where released, and one Link. I'm not completely sure, but I do know my Zelda! 	Link has been in all cases a Hylian, I'm not sure if that is a type of human or some sort of elven creature but the technical term remains Hylian. ------------------- I C'Z U

	Ugh... you guys should look at the Gamespot boards. The people there have like 20 pages of flames, arguing over the timeline. Its a jungle out there.

	Link is a human from Hylian. If you've played Ocarina of Time, you probably noticed that he doesn't have a fairy at the beginning of the game, while all of the other children do. You might have noticed that after seven years, Link has grown up while all of the Kokiri children are still young. 	No, he isn't Hylian/Kokiri. He's pure Hylian. If I was a human that happened to be raised by frogs, I'd still be a human. The only way Link could be part Kokiri is if father was. 	I haven't a clue. o__o; I do believe that in most of the games he was elfan/elvan/Hyrulian/whathaveyou, but like VD said, there's about 6 of them, each donning a different set of clothing and a little different...I think. ------------------- . poetry \| art \| fanfics .

	Puts head in hands* They are all human. They've each been different in appearance and ability, but they were all generally the same. Link is usually Hylian, but since there are so many different versions of Link and no decent explanation for a storyline, he can be Human when Hylians don't exist, like in the Minish Cap. Probably because the game was rushed and people don't know how to translate or something. Damn, I miss Ocarina of Time.
