Yes it will rock all of them too death. They well each be raped twice, by the FEAR game coming out. I am happy to say that I have reserved the Xbox360, with Perfect Dark Zero with it, and of course FEAR. This year is gonna be the best *bleep*ing year ever for hardcore badass gamers like me!

Better then Doom3 and halo2, yes. Halflife2, well..I have only played the Demos but it wasn't enough of the game for me to say it was better then HL2, when the game is released I will make up my mind.
I preordered mine about a week ago, can't wait

F.E.A.R is going to be the FPS of 2005 standard, it has the graphics, gameplay, and innovative features that all FPS games should have.

I can imagine some hardcore Doomfan saying DoomIII is better, although it's just a repetitive shooter with awesome graphics.
But how can anyone say Halo2 and Max Payne are just as good as FEAR? I mean Halo2 is just a mainstream over-hyped FPS game and Max Payne is just a mediocore 3rd person, well it's pretty good for the 3rd person shoot genre but nothing special apart from that...

HEy the person that wasnt certain about FEAR being better than HL2, trust me HL2 was a good game, but I beat it once and never really played it again, the fire effects only look good if your facing them, but if your on a higher level you just see it as paper. Bad. PLus the physics in this once is much greater. Instead of a pee size dent in a object, in FEAR huge holes can be made, plus its a horror genre and I love horror.

I never thought I'd say something like this... but I think FEAR is better than HL2. I know absurd right? Wrong. It is such an engrossing experience it's undescribable. It's creepier than doom 3 and the scares aren't cheap or too frequent. They come around just when things are starting to feel stale.

By far the best looking game I've seen yet, easily. If you don't have volumetric lights disabled you're seriously messing out on an effect that really brings the game world to life. It's quite amazing how well this game scales in terms of hardware too. I have an AMD Athlon 64 3200+ and a Radeon 9800 and I run it at 800x600 with medium/high settings and it runs superbly.

it is DEFINITELY better than doom 3... bot not better than HL2...HL2 is more funny and with better ideas... no game can beat HL2 at this moment...about halo 2...i haven't played it yet, so i don't have any comments...

but F.E.A.R. really is excellent game...

f.e.a.r. is brilliant on physics and graphics

doom 3's only use is toilet paper and maybe it could be used as a clay pidgion

as for halo please don't insult me

half life 2 was great but f.e.a.r. is in a different league

HL2 has the prestige that FEAR can't take away.

Plus, if you have HL2, you have SOO many mods you can get for free.

I have at least 12 mods for it, and I never get tired, because I can cycle through them all.
