You knew it would have happened sooner or later, and here it is.

A lot of people compare this game and GTA together, and rightfully so. As you can see the similarites easily, free roam, multiple missions from different sources, hijackings, ect. GTA got the whole 'gangsta' feelin down. But it does give much of an explosive feeling. And Mercenaries does just that. It gives you the feeling of utter destruction. Don't get me wrong, GTA is great no doubt about it but I like Mercenaries just a bit more because of feeling.

I didn't get into details because I'm not much of huge GTA fan.

I like both GTA and Mercenaries, I hope they can find a good way to expand it for the sequel. It's a lot trickier to make a sequel for Mercenaries in my opinion.

I have deleted a few ideas just because it is so tricky. Well most of all the game has to be fun, have everything the first had and then more. And fix any bugs the first had too, not many but those seams in the bridges that screw with tanks are one.

You can do more things in GTA, but personally, i'm more of a military action man myself. I prefer Mercenaries for this reason, though you'll easily find Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six games in my game archives, so it comes to no surprise.

mmm. I agree with basically everything said so far... I like Mercenaries a bit better. Besides, I don't have a PS2

I think that Mercenaries is better just because I like milatary action but GTA has more things to do.

Well Mercenaries does actually have more things to use, do ,and blow up. In GTA can you level a 10 story building with a carpet bomb uuuuummmmmm NO!! As you can see Mercenaries will always own GTA!! Plus after you save you can go to Mafia territory and blast the living.....you know out of them and plus they supply you with the weapons!!LOL

I agreed with whatever said so far. I just love mercenaries (tons more than GTA). Finished the like 4 times

I think Mercenaries is a little better than GTA because you can topple buildings with C4 in Mercenaries

I think Mercs is better than GA because your in a type of war, not a struggle to pay the rent.

DUDE you can't compare mercenaries to GTA.. it's nowhere near as good.

I enjoy them both.

They both have different feelings that can keep you hooked so its a close one for me.

mercenaries is way better there is NO porn in it and GTA 1 through 4 has WAY too much drugs, sex, alchol, ect.

Mercenaries hands down. Lol they pretty much go where GTA doesn't.
