how do you defeat the balrog? its frickin impossible. every time i try, it just casts inferno and kills everyone. someone please help!

Look make sure you've got lots of elf medicines and then make sure youve used all the stats to make your characters as strong as they can OK now keep gandalf idrial and hadhod on and elegost use loudwater fury as much as you can use gandalfs lightning attack [cant remember what its called sorry] use hadhods endure flame to make flame resisitant higher so you dont get hurt by the fire moves i.e. the inferno if any-one dies which is likely use elf mdeicine with idrial when she makes people come back alive there health is normally full and there ap just repeat those following steps and use ap drain

P.S. what difficulty are you playing on?

Balrog is EASY! Just use arnor mushrooms on Gandalf to give him infinate AP for the battle, ignore your 3 own characters, and use Bolt of the Valar each turn. If gandalf drops below 2000 HP, heal him with any reasonable healing items, and ignore his AP.

You may also want to use Hadhod's Endure flame, like King Kong said, and also Gandalf's Endure Shadow. Just use these endurances ASAP, and use the stratagy I mentioned above.
