This is a thread dedicated to posting and responding to requests for duels, as well as for letting people know you need judges for your duel or offering to vote on some yourself. Lists of current requests for each are maintained below for you to view or add to. Maybe you want to duel a specific person, or have a duel with particular rules, or just take on someone or any mix and match thereof, or you need some judges or even want to be one. Whichever of these you're after, The Bulletin Board offers an organised and dedicated place for you to get it. Guidelines Just because this thread exists doesn't mean to you have to use it. Duelists are entirely welcome to organise their duels, opponents and judges in the GD, via PM, or by other means. The GD can get busy though, and this is a dedicated thread focused solely on duel and judge requests. Following the previous point, a little discussion is allowed, but keep it to a pertinent minimum, please. If you want to check something before you accept a request, that's fine, but if your discussion is going to go on for longer than a couple of posts each way, it's best handled over PM. If you post a request in the thread, and that request is later settled outside the thread (via PM, over an IM etc.), please post here saying it has been accepted, so as to avoid other duelists trying to respond to it. It may pay to also check the latest page of the thread. The first-post lists will be kept up-to-date as possible, but there's always the chance a request or two were posted since their last update - keep this in mind. When requesting judges for a duel, please include a link to said duel, as well as how many slots need to be filled and any preferences of judge. When submitting a duel request, please use the format given in the box beneath. This is what will be added to the list beneath so as to keep it neat and easy to read, while also presenting your request in a prominent place. You can include further information in your post if you wish, but what you write in the card below is the part that will be displayed here. `[b]Duelist Name:[/b] name linking to member list profile (if you have any preference about what character/s you use, include them in brackets) [b]Duel Preferences:[/b] duel length/setting/strict reply time/etc. (any that apply, each on a separate line) [b]Opponent Preferences:[/b] rank/experience/specific people/etc. (same as above)` Duel Requests quote Clief Duelist Name: Tarnac Duel Preferences: 2 Battle post, any setting. 	Another new official thread for the NDL . This time, Tseng_Eclipse is my deputy, and will be working with me to keep the first post up to date. If any of you are either looking for a duel or judges for a duel, I urge you to use this thread; you're still allowed to use other channels, like the GD, but it would help to get this thread off the ground . In time we are going to try and reach out to members who may not have a duel and see if we can help them find one, and we really want to make this thread a place to help new members especially get duels and get involved easily. ------------------- Words Are Weapons

	Since you just judged my duel Corruption I suppose I can return the favor, go ahead and sign me up and I'll get something up before I go to bed tonight. Fyrestorm do you think you could bend the rules for running tournaments for a Speed Duel Tournament? A lot of speed duels have been happening lately and it might be fun to capitalize on their current popularity. With them being speed duels you really wouldn't have to fear people ghosting. Sooooo? 	Corruption you're right that aligning schedules may prove a little difficult, but certainly not impossible. Whoever organizes the thing can take steps to pair off the initial rounds with people who have the same hours free on average. Eventually we'd hit the issue of two people with wildly different schedules going against each other, but the later in the tourney that happens the less we have to worry about delays. Fyrestorm you never responded and you mentioned losing like 80 notifications, so I figure I'd ask again about your thoughts on a Speed Duel Tournament. ------------------- False hope leads to true despair, watch how quickly white turns to black.
