I have a friend who gets drunk at twice the speed of everyone else. It's quite funny to see her tipsy when everyone else is still mostly sober. Not that I drink myself, so I get to see that for everyone, but still

Tseng_Eclipse He "plays" drums (he tries to, is what I mean). Worse, he hasn't improved over the months. Sometimes, he also plays hip-hop or rap (or related genres) rather loudly (most is moderately tasteful, but some of it is just so bad), and even attempts to sing. He used to be such a great kid, but as he's reached his teens he's moved down the path of general dickery. I don't know, but I think it's because his dad is a lazy workless bum, who walked out on his family and only now seems to be making them sell the house to get his share, even though the mother paid almost every single cent that's been put into it.

Fyrestorm I told you you're not going to find GreatPhoenix inside me! You can stop... Ahh!... Looking now.

I'm not sure when voting for my own party will begin, but I think I still have a few days.

As for my thread, well, ever since I accidentally deleted the 89 reasons I'm better than everybody else, I've changed my policies and lies promises about what I'll do as president.

As of now, my entire campaign consists of:

"As your president, I give each and every one of you the personal Corruption guarantee that I will do two things: the first of them being, I will never, ever lie to any of you. Other candidates are giving you promises that you and I both know they will never fulfill. Out of a deep respect for all of you, I'm just going to not do that. That's right! My second guarantee is that as president, I vow to do absolutely nothing to fix anything.

Now I know what some of you are thinking: "That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard." But take a moment to think about it. Unlike all of the other candidates, I will always tell you the truth. When people ask what I'm doing about little orphan forums living off scrapped threads in this big, ruthless site, you may rest assured that when I say I am doing nothing, I am most definitely doing nothing.

If you vote for me, you will never be disappointed by my presidency because you should already have extremely low expectations for me anyway! Do you see the brilliance now?

So. Yes. I leave you all now with these words: "A vote for Corruption is a vote to do absolutely *bleep* all!" "

Fire_Phoenix: Oh, sheesh. I believe you can report people for that sort of behaviour for disturbance of the peace, although you'd probably have to catch him in the act to do it. Maybe threaten him with it, although if he's your typical teenage douche he'll probably just continue. At which point, call the goddamn police. See how he likes that.

Got stupid animesoc related things over the next ocuple of days. Thinking about telling them that I quit. They'll hate me forever, but I've pretty much reached the point where I do not give the tiniest of shits about them any more.

Thoughts? Is it worth pointlessly standing up to backwards opinion, like President Obama, or should I give up on a bad job and walk away?

Hmmm, I didn't consider that. I guess I always associated the speed with it in terms of offensive (like a lightning strike), rather than defensive. Though now you mention it, I don't see why it couldn't do both... Even if it didn't help a lot, it should be able to do something, and that with his off-aim may be enough...
