Well the charactyers do play a big role in each game, certain characters can unlock certain videos and quests that you couldn't get otherwise. I KOTOR 1 you just had to talk too evryone. In KOTOR 2 you have to have a high influence.

i think u should have the choice at the start whether to be a sith or jedi. if u r a sith u have to go up the ranks and kill the current sith lord then hunt the jedi by going around the galaxy. if u are a jedi u have to rebuild the order and start a new academy on a less obvious planet. also u should be able to totally customise ur charactor and maybe make them aliens. the clothes should be able to be worn how u want like whether having the hood up, down, tied round ur waist, or een as a sort of cape thing. i think theyre should be lots of charactors to have in ur party and u decide who joins, but u have to pursuade them to join rather than them saying that they are coming and u have no choice. a fight between party members might be cool and u have to decide which side u are on and then this causes friction between them and u get more influence or lose influence depending how u deal with it.

That sounds like a goo9d Idea for a sims type game. But you could have actual control of the character. But what does that have to do with the stooy? You can't leave the story out.

I'd like a thing were you can meet a Matukai Apprentice, or, better yet, some of the races and stuff you hear about through dialouge and items. Its like they lead you on a leash and tie you to a pole at the end... not nice.
And, highest thing on the list, no more glitches. x.x

OoOo ideas... Kotor 1 had an EXCELLENT storyline, but not enough stuff. Kotor 2 had a TERRIBLE storyline, but a lot of stuff--not to mention boring menus and edgy graphics. Kotor 3 (is there even gonna be one) should include deep character creation options. Instead of just heads, they should do a lot of options of hair, eyes, noses, mouths, and skin colors that you can put together to create your character. I think starting off as a jedi just ruins the whole feel of wanting to become one during the game, so they should start you off as one of the many jedi trainees that (uhhh?) were being secretely trained in that little frozen base in KOTOR II, because of the growing amount of Sith. That could be a tutorial, where you are a bit shorter, and after the whole "4 or 5 years later" thing, you are your tall self on your first mission to investigate (uhhh) an escape pod that crashed on the side of the academy. Then you find out its a Sith! But waitt! It's an injured Sith...that's a girl! Your age! How unlikely! Then DISASTROUS EVENTS OCCUR!! And blah blah, wow i really thought about this and it isnt even copyrighted I just want to see a much deeper combat system, is all. hehe

I think that it may have to do with revan leacing that system to go fight the true sith, what do you guys think, whether you tried to join him or not at the end of 2, you can play as either, I think that'd be cool.

xXRusted just what the hell is wrong with the KOTOR II storyline? I thought it was pretty good. Granted not as good as the feeling you get when you find out you are really the dark lord Revan but still pretty good. It is filled with lots of moral controversy and delimma and this eternal question of "Is war right as long as lives can be saved?" I thought that was pretty good. Not to mention the characters are a hell of alot less annoying than in KOTOR I. Atton has replaced Carth and thank god for that...
As for what I think the new game should be like I'd like to go back to the original idea. Rebuilding the Jedi order just doesn't seem very epic. So instead you choose to wander the outer rim worlds in the farthest reaches, worlds few people other than mandalorians have ever travelled to. You are of course searching for Revan. Bastilla will of course be joining you because she wants to find Revan. Over the course of the game you would have to struggle with knowledge of the force unknown in the inner rim worlds. You will learn of just how narrow the abilities of the Jedi and sith are. You will learn strange new powers and struggle to not be consumed by these powers and fall to a form not unlike Nihilus. I think that's a pretty damn wicked idea for a Star Wars game. Not only will you be travelling to planets that not even the biggest star wars nerd has heard of but you will be delving into the lore of the force in a greater way than any game has thus far done.

kotor 1 and 2 are some of my fav rpgs, for kotor three here are my ideas. -more colors for lightsaber (there are quite bit on 2 but make all the colors ) -fully costomizable chars( as rusted_darkness siad) -more robes and armour -more weapons and blasters(they all basicly look the same -and change the music use classic star wars music, the music on kotors are really errie and weird i dont like it - and of course insane graphics

also there should be liek 20 more worlds you can travel to and you can unlock new worlds, also there should be no end of the game , make it liek morrowind or fable so you dont have to make a new game if you missed anything or just wanna play more on your character.

20 worlds? not enough hardware power for that but I do think the games need more worlds. The biggest complain I can have about KOTOR I and II is that A) there are only 4 to 5 worlds, maybe 6 if you count the last levels which are always short and B) the worlds are not very original and neither are the races. KOTOR seems bent on following the star wars mold rather than inventing its own races and planets.
