probably when i was 6. i had pokemon stadium and gold version.

I started playing somewhere around age 10. I had Pokemon Blue on my Gameboy Pocket. It was awesome back in the day.

I was six when Pokemon Red came out, and I found out about it from my friends.

I've played since 1999 when yellow came out. so i would have been... 7 years old. I'm 15 now, so i've played for 8 years, and I plan to play until GAMEFREAK stops making Pokemon games. Even then i'd still be playing Platinum, Diamond, Pearl, every single one i own. I'd be rich if i saved pokemon green until i graduate from college since it's old and japanese.

My first experience was of Pokemon Yellow in the year 2000 when I was 9. I was more of a console gamer, and the Game Boy didn't interest me remotely. That all changed when my mates wouldn't stop talking about Red/Blue as well as the obsession I had with the Trading Card Game.

Once I got to grips with it, playing Pokemon Yellow was one of my finest gaming experiences, only to be eclipsed by Pokemon Silver. Aahhhhh those days were simply the best.

Nothing whatsoever mate. I'd be doing the same if i wasn't so paranoid about my internal battery suddenly dying.

The newer versions have never got me hooked like G/S/C. Whether thats to do with me simply growing up, and my mindset changing, or those games were simply the best. Was such a big step up from R/B/Y, really enhanced the quality of the series.

My first pokemon game was Crystal, when I was four and a half, but long before that my brother used to give me pokemon blue to play when I was three. Crystal was my "very own" game, and eventually, all my brothers old pokemon games were given to me where he grew out of pokemon

i think i was 5 lol, and yeah i had like 6 cards that my friends gave me, i never got into that, but the games were fun...i really just started playing now though due to a bet...which atm im losing

i started i think on my birthday i was turning 5 or 6 i got pokemon blue and red and then i traded pokemon blue to my friend for pokemon gold and i still have red and gold
