How old were you when you first started playing pokemon? Which pokemon game was your first? How did you first find out about pokemon? Tehe. ^-^


I was six when Pokemon Red came out, and I found out about it from my friends.

Let me dig deep into my memory... Let's see, I was six as well, when I was playing Pokemon Blue. When I REALLY got into it was when I was about 9 years old...

It was my first videogame. I got it when I was, let's see, oh, I think I got it for my 6th birthday also. Wow, freaky. I had been begging my parents to get my a GBC for my birthday and they kept saying no so I was WICKED suprised when I opened teh birthday gift and found a GBC and Pokemon Red. Good times.

I think that about answers it, people were 6 years old.

Why does everyone start playing video games when they're six? XD I was only playing them because that's when kids first had them at school and daycare, and I didn't even know that they existed before (they were not as commercialized as now). Tehe. =D

i was 7 when i got mine becuaes my parents say they are a waste of time.

here is the order of pkmn games i got

1.pokemon yellow
2.pokemon red
3.pokemon gold
4.pokemon blue
5 pokemon crystal
6.pokemon silver
my others are r/s/e and lg/fr

i also got the 2 staidums and pokemon snap for n64
(pokemon snap sucks)

Pokemon Snap was amazing.

When I was six, I got Red, Blue, and Pokemon Stadium. When I was seven, I got Snap, Yellow, and Pokemon Stadium 2.

I didn't find out about Pokemon games until the age of 9-10. I never played it until the age of 11, when I first got a Gameboy Color. Stopped playing at the age of 13, and that's basically it.
I used to play Pokemon Snap and Pokemon Stadium before I found about the games for the Gameboy.

My first Pokemon game was Pokemon Yellow. I was in 5th grade I think, about 10 years old.

I still remember opening my GBA and Pokemon Yellow game on Christmas. Best Christmas present ever.

When I was 6, I got Pokemon Blue and Red, Pokemon Stadium, and Pokemon Snap. When I was 9-10, I got Pokemon Yellow, Pokemon Gold, Hey You, Pikachu!, Pokemon Stadium 2, and Pokemon Sliver.

The Christmas when I was seven, I got so much Pokemon stuff! Did anyone else have those little pokemon figures? Those were so cool.

I got my first pokemon when I was 6? but I had wanted a gbc with red blue and yellowsince the anime came on. I started playing video games whn I was 2 about

lol Sakura, you must be my age then, because I was also six when it came out! Erm, Pokemon Blue was my first game. I found out about it when my friend brought in Red on Games Day (where you could bring in any game) at school. I got Red shortly after and just became addicted!

Did anyone else get the cards too? I got them as soon as they came out. We would always play with them at Daycare. I remember it was like a huge deal to have a Charizard. I actually originally saw Pokemon as Pokemon cards, and the first pokemon I ever knew was Squirtle. Tehe. ^-^

My first and favorite has always been Pikachu. I had a bunch of the cards but I never got a Charizard and I NEVER understood how to play =/
