	Wiki Pages Electric Log in to remove this sponsored message I know im abit late, but although i played every other gen by the time i got to Gen 2 all the games were dead. As in the batterys were kaput. So Got a rom. Anyways, this is my team so far: http://prntscr.com/5amt6 Obviously this is a simple view, but where can i get an early good electric type and fire type? I have this system where every pokemon game i have a flying type, grass, water, fire, electric and a ground.

	The next Fire Type you can get is either Growlithe or Magmar. One you need a Fire Stone to evolve and the other is pretty hard to catch. Growlithe can be found in that area right after the Bug Catching contest place and Magmar can be found in the Burned down tower on the bottom level. As for electric types, uh, Mareep? Found just south of the first town with a gym. ------------------- I'll be your sweetheart~

	Like Mia said, I strongly suggest getting a Mareep. It's been forever since I've played this game, but I still remember Mareep being the Pokemon I always chose for an electric-type. Its fully evolved form, Ampharos, is truly a powerful beast. I would definitely go with Growlithe as a fire-type. Arcanine, it's evolved form, is also quite a behemoth to behold. 	You can't get a Fire Stone till after the Elite 4 in this game, iirc. ------------------- I'll be your sweetheart~

	Soo, either growlithe and not evolve until after E4, or Magmar and have trouble finding one, or Ho-Oh. Ok, what would be a good pokemon to use istead of a fire type? I cant remember the E4 in this game so what sort of moves will be needed?

	Find a Houndour. It's evolved form, Houndoom, is excellent. It's a Fire/Dark type. Very good moveset. EDIT: Just realized you find these after the E4 as well. 	The only other strong Fire pokemon you can get before the E4, without trading anything, is an Entei or Rapidash. It's hard to track down but id you want to use your Master Ball on it, you'll snag it. I can't remember the level it's on but Entei is amazing. You can find a Ponyta on Route 26, but it's the area right before the E4. I doubt you want to wait that long for a fire-type, though... And as you know, Ponyta evolves into a Rapidash, a super fast, powerful pokemon. ------------------- We don't know who we are until we see what we can do.

	I think you should stick with the Growlithe because bear in mind once you use the fire stone to evolve him to Arcanine, it won't learn any more moves, so spend your time using Growlithe to level him up til when he learns Flamethrower (lv. 50 I think) then evolve him. The evolved Arcanine will be unstoppable then. -------------------
