	Log in to remove this sponsored message i can't get summoner to run on stably on my xp pro machine. my specs p4 3.0c radeon 9800pro with 3.6 catalyst ac97 audio i can play the game for awhile then the game will just crash with the sound still running. i have to reset the pc. i've already installed the 1.40 patch and it still wont run properly. i've also tried to run it in compatibility mode but it wont run at all. little help?

	Dear i was having the same problems.pc ram was 128 .I upgraded to 512 and now its running smoothly with occ. crashes.I ve completed it know.Thats what i can tell u.Bye.

	I am having the same problem, on average about once every 30 mins the mouse will stop responding (more often when clicking through dialogue). The only help I can give(little that it is), is that you shouldn't have to reset your machine when it happens. CTRL-ALT-DELETE and killing the task should do it. If it is same problem you might have to move your mouse around a bit until it is over the task manager window to see it.

	Having done a lot more fiddling I noticed that the game freezes exactly 20 minutes after it is started, without fail. I tried setting the compatibility on sum.exe to 98/ME and it no longer freezes after 20 minutes, only problem is when you try and quit out, it now hangs. Still a step in the right direction. Note: putting compatability on summoner.exe, meant it wouldn't start at all, so not a great idea.

	Found it, or at least I am 99% sure this is the problem, just need to find some time to try it. The 20 mins seems to relate perfectly to the power save setting for turning the monitor off. I assume XP thinks the machine is idle while I am playing, then everything goes wrong when it tries to turn the monitor to power save. New XP machine, should have checked the power save stuff was off.

	not sure what u guys are doing wrong but i am running windows xp home and haven't had a problem, did you choose the full install option, i know that when i selected the minimal install it would hang on the load up screen after the first village, if you didn't do a full install i suggest you do, it has better performance and quicker loading times. I am running 512mb ddr ram 333mhz rage pro ultra with 32mb agp video 2 gig celeron processor are u running an older processor, that could be why, anything under 1gig sucks. Hope this helps
