What is your favorite starting selection. I like Warm Tempurature, Pangea, 3 billion years, and moist weather.

warm, archipelago, 4 billion years, and whatever the normal thing out of moist, dry, and whatever the other one is.

I like the moderate temperature, medium Archipelago, 4 billion years, and regular (default) precipitation.

Warmer climate means more rivers right? If not what does cuz I think rivers are the best thing in this game.

i like a dry climate, temperate temperatures, and 80% Pangea. lots of grassland and plains, with few deserts and tundras.

What about world size. Do you prefer a large a possible for maximum expansion or a moderate size and fewer competing civilization to deal with?

I like very small, very dry world maps with a lot of competition over the small fertile areas.

I think rivers is actually more dependent on the size of the land, since you can't have a lot of rivers in a tiny space.

Usually Archipelago and warm climate.

I like to start on my private continent (on the Standard World Map, in Australia [with LITTLE BLUE PENGUINS] where I can be alone and have resources). I set barbarians to the normal setting; temperature as cold as possible; and terrain halfway. I pick continents with whatever amount of land I want that day; i select THAT on a whim.

So PENGUINS RULE, evolutionists drool, and Civilization III is cool.
