Can you enter civil war? If you can't, this game is UNREALISTIC!

Can you change the standard barbarian unit for the normal game, not in the rule editor? I want to switch it to privateer so I don't know whether it is an enemy or nomral pirate.

Is there a way to play multiplayer? I adore this game, and I would like to play it with some friends, and ally against France since they are inconsiderate bugs in the game; and China because in real life they are poisoning us. Do some google searches for food recalls and other news; Chinese fish are raised in sewers.

In the map editor, if you check all six boxes (sci, military, relig, expand, commerce, indust) do you get them all or just two? It shows two in the nation info when I select the player but the game crashes becaue of other rules I changed. (I guess I shouldn't mess around so much).
