How the hell do you delete saved games? i have about a trillion and cannot figure out how to do it. i have vista if that matters nnnnngggghhhh blacking out...

Do into the programs and settings folder, sort your way to wherever you have Civ III saved on the harddrive, then sort your way into the conquests/saved games folder, and voila. Next chose whichever ones you wanna delete and you're set.

These instructions will work if you're the administrator for your computer:

Go to the "My Computer" Icon on the desktop page, double click on it. Go into a place called the 'C' drive, then into the folder called "Program files", then into the folder labelled "Firaxis Games", keep going into the Civ folder, and then into the conquests folder. The 'Saves' folder will be right there.

i'm the admin on my computer but i don't have the my computer thingy on my desk top. is this summit to do with me using vista? i'm really sorry to continually bother you in such an uninteresting way, i have tried
"searching" my computer but that was about as much use as a kinder fire guard

Windows Vista stinks. Getting rid of it would help solve some frustration.

Then, go to "Program files" (If you run WIN[dows]Executor [WINE] on Linux [preferably ubuntu], it will be in ".wine/drive_c"; otherwise in c:\\Program\ Files), Infrogrames interactive/Civ3, and saved games. Delete them all, and save ones of different sorts in different folders.
