Resient Evil or Silent Hill? - Page 2

I love them both, they two very difficult IMO.

A while back I said SH, but now that I've started playing RE again, I'm starting to love that as much.

i choose RE i like the controls and the gameplay.

This is tough I enjoy both series alot.

Resident evil 1234 Veronica vs SH 1234 = Like them equally for different reasons. Both are fun to replay

SH is creepier and better story overall
RE is better action

SH vs RE to date I'd pick Silent Hill

My reasons Silent Hill cranks out way more games sooner vs every 5 yrs like RE. Imo RE 5 sucked and RE 6 doesn't look like older style which I prefer we'll see.

Silent Hill Homecoming ok
Silent Hill Origins might have been good but, save issue and crashes I never finished it
Shattered Memories great story decent game different though
Downpour ok game so far haven't finished yet but, earlier games were way better so far

RE 5 sucked
RE Darkside chronicles yuck

I think RE should die off but, players who prefer new style will disagree
I think non team silent has to deliver better in the next few years or it should die off too


I wish more HD versions of older games will come out too in these series.

Silent Hill all the way. All Resident Evil had going for it scary wise was the BOO! factor. walk down a hall and dogs/birds/ big ass dude come busting through a window/wall. thats good and all. But in my experience nothing in Resident Evil could ever creep/scare the crap out of you like the first 5 minutes of Silent Hill when those air raid sirens go off and the screen goes dark. That will ALWAYS be the scariest moment in video gaming ever for me

Im sorry do all of you die hard Resident Evil fans but when someone says "Survival horror", im pretty sure it doesnt mean anger and frustration at dieing which is what seems to be the theme from resident evil since 4.
