[Winners Announced!] The AMD Never Settle Campaign hits Neoseeker with 5 new 7000 cards!

I figured as much but just wanted to make sure. I'll get my entry in later tonight and hope I win. I'm in the process of putting together a build right now!

I wish I could say that I feel your pain, but I'm in the US and now I'm entering in the drawing muahahaha!



This is the ATI Radeon HD 4600 series and according to the part number I found on the card (109 b66641-00), it is a HD 4670 which was released in 2008. I got the computer for free and at the time the 512MB for the card was pretty middle of the line and now it is even lower. If the card was $79 new back then...just imagine how lacking it is in comparison to the $350 price point for the 7970 that I'm interested in!

Anyways, the card has performed pretty well over the past few years and I'm hoping that I can retire it and the rest of the PC as I upgrade to the current generation of parts!

Horse, no. There have been a number of contests without the NA restriction but in this case (and I'm sure for the rest of them as well) it is the requirement of AMD, not Neoseeker as said on the previous page by Vegitax2:

AMD's rules not ours, since they're providing the products and we're the vessel they hold the cards on the stipulations. Users are free to get as creative as they want as long as it's only 1 entry per person, I doubt it's held people up for other contests across the net before with regional restrictions.

We've had stipulations like this in the past and often those result in we either follow those rules or we don't get to do the contest at all.

WGPlutonium, I'm also curious to know what VeGiTAX2 considers "information on your current card" because there are a few people just posting pictures of their cards. But if you look at his sample "entry" for the 7870 or 7970 it doesn't specify which of the two cards in particular

WGPlutonium, there is usually a list of winners that is announced for Neo seeker contests. Gives you someone to be jealous of.

D Ray Silva, I'm assuming it has something to do with the randomizer that VeGiTAX2 used for it. Instead of just putting out a list randomly organized, it assigned a point value to each username and the higher the points, the higher rank they were in terms of winning. Closest to 100 points = 7970, 5 points = nothing.

Holy cow, that's supposed to be one of the better ones too! As for the code...no clue for you but my 7950 came with a slip that had a scratch off code to redeem at an AMD site. After that, the individual codes were instantly emailed out to me.
