neoforums v1.0.9 update - changes to PM thread links and new more accurate directory search

Hi everyone,

We've just launched an update to the forums. For members, the main changes include improvements to the tag clouds at the bottom of forums, a critical change to the PM thread links in mobile mode and full mode, and major improvements to the forum directory search.

v1.0.9

+ Append and Prepend Quotes in Thread Recap will link to the messageid
+ improve tag listings so they take up less space by truncating and randomising them.
+ tag clouds should properly bold popular tags, and popularity is now also determined by replies to tagged threads
+ significant improvements to forum directory search. The old system relied on an "exact match", the new systme is a true search engine that finds based on keywords. For instance, the old system would not find "Magic: The Gathering" if you had searched for "magic the gathering". The new system will find it using "magic gathering","gathering magic","gathering magic the" and etc.
+ forum directory search and forum post search interlink via new tabs now. in future iterations you should be able to do a directory search straight from the header.
+ "online" icon made slightly darker on the dark alternate background in forums using one of Hraefn's new icons.

PM related changes
+ PM thread links will now lead to the last post of the PM thread OR the first unread post of the PM thread in full view and mobile mode. Previously the link always lead to the first page of the PM thread.
+ Add pagination in the browse PM thread view, so you can jump to pages within a PM thread.
+ “Go to top of page” in PM view.

The new search options are a nice touch.

I was on my profile and was looking at my friends when I saw this. Insanity Prevails, Aura and squiggle bath have the lighter symbol while w111j and Disillusioned have the darker online status. Is that how it's supposed to be? ;L

It's because Dis and w111j have the blue background.

hmm... that's not really intentional, it's only meant to use the darker icon in the forum themed pages where the darker green on the dark blue is perceived by our eyes as mostly the same as the lighter green on the lighter blue.
