Of course not. I have tried this (when I signed up 2 years ago)

Another one: If I wait 365 days from today, can I change my username to THE SOMBRERO then, or do I have to keep it this way?

You'll be able to alter it again in a years time. However, since your name change did not turn out as desired you need to message Redemption to resolve the issue and get your name changed again.

I tried that, but I used to log in with the capital F despite it being lower case. Because I have common sense and all, I simply logged out, logged back in with the lower case f and I was able to change it.
