how the hell do you beat kraken?

i got 9 djinn and i missed the one in the tret tree, one in the lighthouse and one in this cave.but i cant get back cause in the mogall woods you keep gowing threw doors and you go through them and end back where you were. and kraken is hard.plus i cant only use the djinn 3 times on standby because i lose all the power points from my djinn.and i dont know if i have to get on a better level. im 24 24 24 23.i think thats good. but im not sure. and the psyenergy attacks dont do much friggin damage cause he keeps using ply.so someone please give me another stragety to beat this S.O.B.please tell me what level i got to be to beat him and i dont care about the djinn cause its too late to go back.!#$@

I had the same problem, even though I had more Djinn. You shouldn't rely on Summons too much. If that is the problem, consider the Djinns as stat boosts, rather than things you need to do for summoning. Use your Psyenergy, Have Mia heal, Isaac and Garet attack with either regular or psyenergy, and Ivan cast support, provided that you have the Djinn elementally aligned.

You are at a way high level 24 24 24 23!!! Man it doesn't take that high of a level. I had the same prob but I had all the djinn and I summoned a lot and used psnergy plus I saved before battling him.

I used a lot of smoke bombs and it let me keep attacking him so iit only took me 2 time to bet him the 1st time i had no clue of what to do you'll get it.

That squid guy on the boat? Oh yeah he's easy just keep on beating the crap out of him. I did'nt use mia to heal I just kept going at him, and well hears how it goes.

first round:
All characters use summons

Second round:
Issac heals Ivan (if you can)
garet uses psynergy
Ivan uses Psynergy
Mia heals Issac

third round:
Issac heals himself
garet uses granite(give garet granite if he does'nt have him)
Ivan uses psynergy or a djinn that has been set
Mia heals herself

keep doing this and when you are downed use water of life If you have it.

First off, you should have more Djinn than that. 5 Venus, 4 Mars, 5 Jupiter and 4 Mercury. Use this neat guide for their locations.

And yes, there are many problems with your strategy. It's a terrible idea to summon right off the bat against bosses. That leaves you very weak, while Kraken is really strong AND can attack twice. You need to keep the Djinn active to buff your characters and just cast Ragnarok and Heat Wave while Isaac uses Impact and antidotes when possible (since he's the fastest and has low attack). Kraken is a water element, it's a terrible idea to use Boreas on him anyway. Mia should be using Wish whenever needed, which is probably going to be every turn since you're way weaker than you should be.
