Did you guys beat DeadBeard

Well I haven't so can you guys give me a pointer on how to defeat DeadBeard?

Be alot higher then level 30!!!

I recommend thrashing Deadbeard when you have all the Djinn. Isaac should be a Ninja, Garet a Samurai, Ivan a White Mage and Mia an Ascetic.

In my opinion, aside from their "Natural Elements", this is the best way to arrange the Djinn.

Using power-up spell is pointless, as Deadbeard can cast Break, and he uses Spark Plasma and Freeze Prism liberally, as well as having a strong physical attack.

Mia should act as healer for this battle. Garet should use Quick Strike, Isaac should be using Annihilation or assisting with healing (Give him loads of potions). Ivan should be your primary Psynergy user. If he's at Lv38, he learns Spark Plasma, so bear that in mind. All other classes that learn Spark Plasma learn it 2 levels later.

However, Deadbeard will still have a major advantage, as the lucky sod can get in 2 attacks per turn!

Actually in the White Mage class you get Spark Plasma at level 46. It is level 50 in other classes.

Try at least being a level 30, get all the djinn, and always heal with mia. If you collect all the djinn what you can do is use flash one turn, then use granite the next turn and set flash that same turn and keep doing that. That way you would always have a guard aura around you. The bad thing about that is you can't attack with those characters.

I beat him at 25 level by first time ...!!

Unleash Judgement frequently;deadbeard is wind-magic.So use earth skills and summons and heal with mia on EVERY turn because deadbeard attacks 2 times per round.

I thought he was easy especially compared to Dullahan in lost age

When I beat him I just kept attacking till he was downed

Mia delivered the final blow that beat him!
