Some years ago, I played to Thief 2. The loading time for a mission (conventionnal or fanmission) was about 20-30 seconds. I was using a PC with windows 98. Now it's 2007 and I begin to play to Thief 2 again. Now I have a good computer with windows XP. When I want to load a game or begin a new one the loading time is about twice the time 1-2 minutes. I was wondering if there is a way to load a game in a normal time. My computer is powerful (I can play to HL2). My old computer was able to load a game quicker... Any help?
