for the last mission i'm getting a weird problem that appeared in 1.07 and 1.18. for some reason i can't seem to drop the gizmo you make the first piece of the beacon into the machine (bellowing machine in bay C). i've picked it up in storage room 2 (there are two of 'em there - can't recall its name atm - it's the one object that doesn't stack in inventory) but have been unable to unload it at all. what's up with that? ack need sleep and some closure.

Have you tried all the gadgets?

yep, tried everything. moreover i meant to say that i couldn't drop it at any time after i picked up the widget (whatever it's called - damn forgot to look it up again)into the machine or on the floor. is it supposed to behave in that way? maybe i am missing something hugely obvious somehow...

If you are talking about the signal bolt, you drop it, like any other item with the "r" key. "r" is drop as appossed to throw.
