My Grandma just died this morning at 10:55. - Page 2

My grandfather died almost exactly two years ago now, and it still hurts.

Sorry to hear your loss, I lost both my grandparents around 10 yrs ago both to unfortunate circumstances I feel your pain and hope you can get through this.

Sorry for the loss of your family member. I don't have any Grandfathers anymore. Its not a good feeling. Suck up and push through it, might take a while though.

My grandmother has severe parkinsons, and she doesn't really know what she is going through anymore, she can barley walk, she can speak a little bit, and she needs 3 people around her 24/7.

The sad part about her speaking is she always asks to see her grandchildren, and it really does kill me because She lives in india, and my Sister and I live in NY, so we can't really afford to go back and forth. My father does though every 6 months.

And to you, I hope you can get past your grandmothers death.

My father passed away 2 years ago and I still can't believe he's gone.

I'm so sorry for you loss. I know I don't have a right to say I'm sorry, because I never knew your Grandma. But I still want to offer a helping hand in whatever way I can. If you ever need to talk with someone, I'm all ears. (or in the web-sense, I'm all eyes) Losing someone is very painful, But keep your chin up kiddo.

Well, I've lost both sets of great grandparents, but that is life. I'm just happy that they were able to live out long and happy age, and die from old age as opposed to anything else. In worse terms though, My best friend's sister committed suicide. It was very chilling, because no one ever noticed that she was hurting that much. She used to baby-sit my brother and I, which makes it all the more shocking, because it means we had ties with her... no matter how weak that bond was. My friend and her family were the ones who suffered the most though-- Not the sister who killed herself. It was a selfish act that ended up wounding her whole family.

When your feeling blue, talking with a friend or loved one helps too. I did all I could for my best friend, and she's managed to live through the past few years just fine. And that makes me happy too.

It is okay to feel sad. The good memories are the ones that tend to hurt the most... But I'm hoping that you will become strong, and cherish those memories instead of crying over them. There is nothing wrong with feeling grief, as long as you don't let it consume your life. I'm sure you can do it!
