ps3.. if i had to pick 2nd and 3rd place (i know you didnt ask for it) 2nd would be xbox 360 3rd would be nintendo Wii

Yea, it is almost a quarter of the number that bought the first Xbox. Not bad for the sucessor of the console that for all intents lost the last battle.

The N64 was codenamed 'Project Reality' and was more powerful that the PlayStation by some way, the cartridge system was was did it for the N^4 in the end. That and a lack of 3rd party support.

Anyways., if I was forced to buy all three consoles, I would get...

1) Wii -Well, the Wiimote looks promising and the new games look like fun (SSB3, Sonic Wildfire, etc.)

2) X360 -There's Halo(3) and.. and Halo(3)...

3) PS3 - I don't give half a crap (maybe a quarter... maybe...) about what no one says, half a grand for a game console is not worth my money (not that I have that much...)

Im getting teh 360 saturday because I can make money to buy all three.

Honestly i feel i will play teh 360 the least(ps3 being most then wii). I might possibly sell it before ps3 comes out. Well it will keep me entertained for a month or so (or before it melts what ever comes first )

I already have a 360 and loving it.

Theres no real chance of me getting a Wii due to my hatred of gimmicky ideas, the controller thing to me is the ultimate in naffness, if I wanted that kind of interactivity I'd obviously be down the arcades, but I'm not and don't wanna be. So why in the hell would I want a games machine dedicated to the same ideas. Pass.

PS3 is a toughie, I dislike MGS so having 4 as a exclusive for the machine might as well be offering me a free bag of chips to buy into it. Apart from that all the games I want are multi-format.. Gta4, Call of Duty 3, or 360 exclusives.. Halo3.
Dynasty Warriors 6 may sway me if it's awesome, but at the moment I'm waiting to see if any exclusives appear that I'm actually interested in.

You're right. Nothing could get you into getting the PS3, not even a possible Super Smash Brothers Brawl release on the PS3.

There could be if Nintendo could be assed to share all of their creations with Sony like Sony had to do with Solid Snake to Nintnedo.


I'm not saying that it'll happen. No way in hell and Nintendo would have to kick themselves right in the balls if they did.
