Breaking Bad Habits

I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice as to stop biting my nails. I've been doing ok for last couple days then today they're back where i began. But, my nails are real short, and if they weren't as bad as they are than i wouldn't have posted this. But, any advice please. And, gum doesn't help, i can still bite my nails, and even so in some classes in school i can't chew it. And, i suppose so the thread isn't completely revolved around me, you could post bad habits you have. But, this thread may be closed, but i'm still gonna take that chance. Thanks.

Sit on your hands. It worked for me.

it's tough for me to sit on my hands, always using them in school, and i'm always feeling ym nails and whenever one feels jagged i have to bite it. And about the nail remover or whatever thing, people might smell it, and don't know if i should risk the whole poisonous thing.

LOL ^^. Anywho, Put masking tape over your fingers and then you won't bit them or cut your fingers off .

bad idea with tape thing people would laugh so you should chop your fingers off like warlords says or another way to prevent yourself from biting is to do this

LMAO Smear chocolate on your elbow or you could wear rubber gloves all the time. lol

This may sound weird, but I put tape on my nails until I felt that I didnt have to do it anymore!

Cut your nails, make them short so you'll end up biting your skin. My nails are really short that some of my skin shows.

my skin already does show, and i'm even biting that stuff, even though it does sound quite sick.

everytime u get to go to bite your fingernails just go and slap yourself
