I can ride a 2, maybe 3 miles no handed, without intersections. I used to Bmx a ton, i just dont have the time anymore, sadly enough. What do you want this thread to be a how to thread? that would be cool, like a tip tricks page.

Does hitting a curb, flying through the air, and then scrapping across pavement and losing the flesh off your hands and bleeding everywhere count as a trick?

Funny you make this thread, awhile ago I was trying to see how hard it was to do a bunny-hop (jump on a bike) so I took about a month of practice but I got it done to a science, it's really easy.
I have been riding for awhile now and I can do simple things like no hand, jumps, wheelie, endo, by far the best trick I can do which I started learning only month ago was bar spin, which is also suprisingly easy and good show off move. -------------------

I once popped a wheelie. AND I went no-handed for a little bit, and came to the railrod tracks (the ones where they're hidden in the road so you don't have to hit huge bumps) and I hit them and I flew off and crashed and was really bloody and such. I don't do that much anymore...having a car doesn't allow me to do that much either, though. ------------------- November 2003

Ya, somebody will stick a bar in your spokes eventualy
The bes trick I did was riding ona side walk through sprinklers. I triend to brake and wound up going into a power slide about 6 feet long. I got a scraped knee and that's it. Then there was the time I did that really stupid thing in my life that nobody in their right mind shoudl do. I was helping a friend get home. He said he lived "up the street". By "up the street" apparently he meant go ten blocks, cross the highway and go another 7 blocks, turn right and go 3 more blocks. Well, apparently he wasn't even supposed to be out of his house, he was grounded. My mom was going to drive him home, but she had a migraine, so I assumed she wasn't going to take him. So I went with him on my bike, and him on my scooter. I didn't tell my mom. When we got there sun had just set and I was lost, so I asked his mom if she could drive her car to my street while I followed on my bike so I could find my way back. We got to the highway and the light said walk so I rushed down the hill at about 20 MPH. Unfortunately I didn't know that the black truck was making a turn... I braked enough to not get hot too bad, and he only hit the front tire, but with enough force that I did several doughnuts. The problem was I was on the ground while doing so. In other words the bike was on its side spinning out of control. Did I mention I wasn't wearing a helmet? When I hit the ground my left leg slammed into the titanium frame. Ow. Somebody close by (there was a mall right there) had a cell phone and called 911. The parametics came and said I'd be fine. No broken bones or anything. But the fron tire, well, normaly if you but a tire down it looks like this -- mine looked like this U It was cheaper to buy a new bike. Not only that, from my knee to my ankle (the one that hit the titanium frame?) all the way around was bruise. Needless to day it wasn't pretty. I had to walk on cruches for two days, but like I said, no broken bones, not even a fracture. ------------------- TheOtaku | My avatar collection(take some!) | Neo Cards

I just sold my BMX bike, like 2 days ago. I rode for about 3 years.
Could tabletop, stand on my back peg, take the other foot off, and manual for 2 street blocks, could do no footers, 180's off the ground, fakie REALLY good, and almost 360 off jumps. This summer, I decided that I was scaring myself with doing it all, so I quit. I've gotten 1 concusion, I took the end of my bars into my intestine and my stomach was bulging and bruised for about a week (ouch). One time I fell, and almost broke my hip. I slammed really hard against the cement, and was out for a couple seconds, I woke up, and jumped up, and collapsed. Classic times. Now I ride 4 wheelers. -------------------

Well, my neighborhood had road construction a couple years ago, so now we have those cool curbs to jump off. It's cool to jump off those one foot-wide curbs where you either shoot into the air and/or hurt yourself badly. I hurt my thumb going off one of those, so I barely go off those now. There's a cool area off a bike path with tons of mud slopes and small paths, so I go there a lot. My bike isn't a good one to do tricks with because it's more like a mountain bike and it's too heavy. I used to have an awesome bike for doing tricks and jumps, but it's too small.
I can't ride my bike with no hands. It goes all over the place if I do.
